Here's a raw video of the new Skull Island area music. The best part starts about 1 minute in... sounds like a "main theme" to me. There's also new jungle insects and bird sounds in different speakers.

Wow that sounds amazing, this is getting me even more excited for the ride.

I'm guessing this was created for the ride/land specifically for Islands of Adventure...

Usually YouTube lets me know when music is copyrighted, and it hasn't yet for this one, which leads me to believe that it is new... That, and I've never heard it before.

It reminds me of Hans Zimmer personally. Good Hans Zimmer. I'm pumped!

I know I'm about to get tomatoes thrown at me, but please take this with a grain of salt:

I think the MESS TENT theming looks pretty... basic. I mean, how many times, in how many attractions, have we seen the "expedition" theme done? This execution doesn't add anything new to the game. It looks like very "generic theme park". Same goes for the rockwork around it :blank:

It's just a food stand though. I'll live.

I dig what you're saying, but if ever there was a time for basic mess tent theming, it's this.

I agree that that's been done before.. but I really like how they made it looks piecemealed together, using whatever they had available: crates, sandbags, even luggage trunks. Looks great if you ask me, but I understand where you're coming from.

That music sounds GREAT. I'm honestly kind of shocked that they're not just re-using James Newton Howard's KING KONG score, but this is an even better option. It really gives the area its own flavor and further separates the attraction from Peter Jackson's film. I wonder who the composer was...
