I'm in the Typhoon Lagoon lazy river again, and there's just no disputing that it is better themed. TeAwa is way more fun, but it's just nowhere near as well themed.

Anything happening yet with those stairs on the back of the volcano?

They were working on it when I went 2 weeks ago. I'll be going in a few days for a photo follow-up.

Quick question:
Can you re-enter Volcano Bay same day with a one day ticket?
Will be staying at Sapphire Falls and doing volcano bay one day. Was thinking about going early to get some slides done and then avoiding the afternoon storms and maybe taking a nap in the room, but wanted to go back to enjoy the park at night. Hope this is an option.
Thanks in advance!

As @Jwhee said, yes. But you have to turn in your Tapu Tapu and get a new one when you return.

So you can't scan a 3 hour wait at a slide then go to your room and nap then come back and hit that slide.

correct, unless you stay nearby, toss your Tapu over the fence, hope you stay within range, oh the room, never mind, wouldn't work.

Adding onto the previous question...will they hold your cabana for you? If we used our cabana from opening until 1pm, left, came back around 5pm...I assume that cabana is still reserved for us, right?

In this case or if you rent loungers, can't you scan the 3 hr ride, take the Tapu off. Then leave it in your cabana/chair go take your nap or eat outside the park then return 3 hrs later for the ride.

Only problem I see is that whoever is scanning your ticket to get back in will see you already have a PuPu. They may not like that

Ok, editing this post as the sides of the steps appear to be done despite the poor quality of both photo below and the screenshot from a video in the last 24 hours, but the rest of the platforms are all bare Steel judging.

Great article but man is it weird how her name is one letter away from the same name as a character on Silicon Valley.
