So, it sounds like they might be taking the jump over to the land next to MIB? Yoshi could easily stand to be lengthened but Mario as of a year ago was very satisfying both in length and visuals... it actually felt longer than it is/was.

(yeah, I am being more candid than usual... eh!)

I always felt that it made sense to extend the land to the area between MIB & Simpsons (only said that about a thousand times ), so if the rumor info is true, and the land is indeed going to be better & larger, I'm all for it, even if there's a year or so delay. Quality is always something worth waiting for. I have no idea what they're planning, but I always thought a castle entrance is something that would be more impressive if it was in a spot where it was stunning and would stand out. The area between MIB & Simpsons would definitely stand out & be a real icon. :thumbsup:

I would love to know more about the DK attraction as I never had eyes on. It must be more than just a coaster? Maybe a coaster/dark ride hybrid?

And don't get me wrong... I found Yoshi to be great and a breath of fresh air from the usual UC fair. It just needs to be more and more of the same unique visuals.

Bummer if this did indeed get delayed. It already seemed like 2020 at the earliest. I guess there is no harm in letting Disney get some shine for a while. Universal has controlled most of this decade with Potter and all of the other new additions.

We kept hearing that SNW was 2020 and Uni was taking a gap year in 2021 to not compete with WDW's 50th, right? Maybe SNW was delayed and expanded to instead actually combat the 50th? :shrug:

Also if we're getting a delay, I just hope they make the land larger, so it can feel more grand and fit in some things like flat rides, playgrounds, etc. A Donkey Kong playground for young kids would be a perfect compliment to the coaster, and Mario is just screaming for a Yoshi-themed carousel.

EDIT: I'll say something I said previously. From my understanding, this would be a completely screen-free experience. Finally. So it has been the thing I've been most excited for in a long while. And I don't even care for the character.

I'm guessing that means, at the very least, it'll wrap around the Simpsons area towards MIB, if not taking MIB entirely. Maybe they added the Zelda area and attraction back in while keeping Yoshi? Only thing I can think of

Could be. But I'd prefer they save Zelda and just add more Mushroom Kingdom with flat rides and a good sized playland- like Jungala/Camp Jurassic sized. That park's gonna need one after KidZone kicks the bucket.

In a perfect world they'd save Zelda for IoA or Park 3, but I honestly don't think that's in he cards, so I'd take what I can get.

Didn't Gary Snyder, the one who leaked the original pitch of Super Nintendo World back in June; mention that Zelda is currently within the plans along with Yoshi?

If Zelda is on for this phase, then I only see it going over to the Tents next to Simpsons and MIB; as that makes the most sense to me if that is back on the table.

There are a few other IP's that they could do, but that I am now starting to believe that Pokemon would be the only Nintendo IP coming for the Fourth Gate if Zelda comes back to USF.

Oh there TOTALLY is enough other IPs to spread to other parks. Pokémon and Zelda alone could carry their own lands.

EDIT: There's also a possibility that Nintendo wants all their properties in one spot. Nintendo is WEIRD. It's the reason I never thought this deal would happen in the first place. Uni could have been planning to break up Zelda from the rest and Nintendo nixed the idea

I don't think they'd be worried about quality, but again, Nintendo is a super weird company. They make baffling decisions all the time. I would not be surprised if they said, "No, we want all of our properties located near one another."
