This is really disconcerting. I mean people are planning vacations around this ride and Universal seems to not have improved the situation. I was hoping my trip in September would not be effected by this botched opening but now I am not so sure. At what point does Universal take this serious?

It's ludicrous to think they're not taking it serious.

Don’t worry the ride is improving! You’re just unlucky.

I think it’s better to announce opening dates in advance.

I am waiting with baited breath to hear what conundrum has befallen this attraction now.

Odd that I posted this thought yesterday:

The attraction not coming up at all today kinda scares me. This would be the first time it’s done this and I don’t remember this every happening to Gringotts. Also it was running last night fairly well after the storm passed. So not sure what the issue could be.

Don't freak out until they announce something. Clearly not a good situation today, but until it's down for extended period it could just be an unfortunately blip

Do you think they would minus the attraction to avoid some of these issues?

Most of the issues I'm aware of are computer/programming related rather than the actual mechanical parts. There isn't much they can do about that other than run less trains if they want reliability as of right now.

I think they mean removing elements of the attraction that may be causing issues to make it run better. I don’t see this happening. If it does, that would be them taking the jaws route.

To fix the issues they have been having, they would need to remove all the trains and LSM fins plus delete the computer code and shut off the power. At least it would be pretty to look out upon... evac path tours perhaps...

None of the elements are the issue. It's the control system. So no.

With it being 630pm, and rain/ thunderstorms in the area, I’d be greatly surprised if it comes online tonight.

How difficult would it be to re-work the control system? As in, would it require a Jaws-level redo?

I work right around the corner from universal and it started to rain around 4:30. Not all day though. It just finally let up about a half hour ago.
