Probably nothing of importance, but Trick or Treat studios put out a pre order for the Pluto mask from Us, being shipped September / October. Same mask company that sells its masks at hhn.

Just because something is on there doesn’t mean it’s coming to HHN, they have other stuff on there site that hasn't been to HHN.

One stupid idea I've had for some time is custom arches for each house, instead of the standard scaffold entrance with key-art and wait time. For example: Stranger Things has a rotten pumpkin patch and a bike while Classical Monsters has a small vintage style theater entrance with posters of the monsters, you know... to make the house entrance stand out more and make them feel more intimidating.

Same, I wasn't too impressed with the facades last year. Poltergeist, Scary Tales and TRT were cool though.

Scary Tales was dope. Loved the interactivity with the witch flying overhead. They've really taken advantage of the "wow" moment when you turn that corner, after the long black hall of drapes, the last few years.

That’s not necessarily true, it can still pull publicity away from any HHN announcement, which Universal wouldn’t want

Not totally accurate. In the game of marketing, you want to have as much impact as possible to your audience. Disney and Universal speak to the same audience and since Disney released something that’s dominating conversation right now, Universal would possibly get less traction with releasing the announcement today.
