Might be my favorite episode

I kinda hate how they made X character into a villain, was kinda hoping he's be a super wholesome hero but....guess not

DD was great and god....can't wait for his show. And yeah it was a strong ending to the episode

If they had been writing like this episode for the whole season, i'd probably have enjoyed it more.

I realized that I wish she hulk was fighting crime all along instead of doing weddings or other stuff

I know " this show isn't made for me" but this episode with daredevil showed how great the entire season could have been if they had she hulk doing some hero stuff.
This is a marvel property after all.
Daredevil was wonderful. Amazing. Just as great and charming as ever. I missed him so much. It feels like seeing a friend from school again. He's Wonderful . I'm glad he's back.

This episode is how the whole series should have been, and not just action or violence but she hulk being a hero. Or at least saving cats from trees or putting out fires or something. So much wasted potential. I understand the writers wanted to do a different type of show, for a different type of audience. But "with great power comes great responsibility" and the she hulk writers forgot about that lol.

I knew they were gonna shoehorn some villain plot by the very end. I predicted that.
Now it finally gets interesting and it's over.

It'a not just the hero stuff, the lawyer/courtroom stuff in this episode was the best we've seen all season. If they would've actually focused on her as a hero/lawyer more rather than going off on random adventures in episode 6 & 7, it could've been good overall. I was into the show for 5 episodes because it did mainly that. Episodes 6 & 7 is where the show went off the rails.

I really wonder where She-Hulk fits within the MCU going forward though. So far she's not really rumored to be in much of anything besides potentially Thunderbolts until Secret Wars. I'm sure she'll show up in Daredevil and make movie appearances, but it'll be interesting. I can see her making a cameo in Deadpool 3.

She's been rumored for NWO, a film rumored to be focusing on a revamped rendition of The Leader, and there have been rumors of World War Hulk. I'd imagine she'd pop up in those.

If the rumors of the Hulk distribution rights reverting to Marvel next year is true and they do a World War Hulk movie, then yeah, she’ll definitely be in that.

I hope they can get that movie made in a reasonable amount of time so Ruffalo can play him in the movie. Eventually, I have to think he’s gonna retire from the role and it’ll be recast again.

I think. The Wakandan spear dude is 100% gonna try and use that to pierce her skin since it’s Vibranium and would probably be 100% the closest thing known to man that could pierce the skin of a Hulk.

They want her blood to create a knew Hulk. Perhaps…. a Red Hulk?

I think he's apart of it....but will be disappointed if its just him

Hoping he's just the rich money guy and X wants the DNA for himself and others

Red Hulk could be it....but this doesn't feel like Val/government

As Matt Murdock said, all these types of guys are goons and henchmen. But what they do could create an opening for a real threat to seize on her blood.

I mean, if they can use it

I thought it worked with Jen because she was related to Bruce....meaning someone has to know how to alter the blood to make it work with others hence why you'd think its X villain, who was also just announced to be in a film

This was definitely one of their better episodes - but it follows the trend of all the other shows. Gets good in the penultimate show to set up the over-bloated and underwhelming finale. As I said in the Werewolf thread, I think they should do more one-offs.

The problem with these shows if they use bottom of the barrel villains (She-Hulk didn't even need a villain storyline, but whatever) and the writing is extremely shaky. When the writing is good, such as this episode, the episodes are good. But they haven't really put together a full series that's extremely well written yet. I think Ms. Marvel is close if you excuse the inevitable bad villain storyline.

These shows are really meant to introduce or expand on characters, nothing else and Ms. Marvel did an extremely great job of establishing Kamala Khan as a likable hero, with great supporting characters all around in the cast from her friends to her family. She-Hulk on the other hand has done a very poor job at establishing Jen in the MCU imo as they've really poured on the whole "men suck" stuff, which only gives fuel to the fire of the people that already hate this show because of the feminist tone.

She-Hulk is the epitome of when they're focused, it can be really good regarding writing, but when it's bad, it's REALLY BAD.

Which is a shame since Titania would've been a decent foil throughout the series but she's been AWOL for 75% of the episodes. They could've easily connected her with Intelligencia's plans.

Which is why I think a one-off would be much better. Introduce the character and if it works well, then expand and include more in the MCU. If they really wanna do episodic storytelling, go with established characters (Like Loki, Hawkeye).

Yeah, that's fair. It would also be a hell of a lot cheaper. Werewolf By Night was probably dirt cheap whereas they put out these shows with 6-9 episodes and most of it is fluff just to fill up weeks worth of television so Disney+ is always running a premium show.

Disney will never move away from how they are currently doing shows in the MCU until Disney+ merges with Hulu in the US at the very least. They need content that people want to watch year-round and currently (in the US at least) the only thing most people care about is the Star Wars or Marvel content with the occasional Disney+ film here and there. Once the services are merged, Disney+ will be flooded with not only more new content, but more just general entertainment content meaning the service would finally see an influx of TV-MA content.

Until that point happens, they have to really rely on Marvel and Star Wars to carry the service.

I felt like falcon and the winter soldier had some really interesting villains and their motives were interesting. That show never got as dull or cheesy as Ms. marvel,
falcon show kept a pretty good pace and constant action, pretty good plot, great chemistry between the actors, a really good ending, (Zemo was really good)
Some people hated falcon and the winter soldier but to me it was the show that had the closest quality to the movies.
It never got boring like ms marvel, every episode had a good continuity and good lead up to the next episode.

Loki was pretty entertaining and had good pacing too. Pretty good chemistry between actors, wasn't boring.
I don't know, those two were kind of as good as the movies? Those two feel like long movies.

It feels like a chore to finish she hulk and Ms marvel because of the slowest pace and lack of action scenes. The actresses are pretty charming and likable ( I do really like Jen and Kamala) but the other characters in their shows weren't that interesting? Sometimes kind of annoying
I felt like Falcon used their time well and didn't waste any of the episodes on boring stuff. Like I said, falcon is like a long movie. Full of interesting stuff

I'm a big fan of FatWS, but I did not like the ultimate villain. Of course, I guess you could could consider US Agent as the villain which makes the villain in the show much stronger, but the Flag Smashers were a terrible villain imo.

WandaVision, Loki and Moon Knight actually all had pretty good villains so I won't say all shows are bottom of the barrel. I have high hopes for a few of next years shows, namely Secret Invasion and Echo, especially already knowing that Kingpin is the villain in Echo.

I’m still enjoying this enough. It’s not something I need to see immediately every week (I actually let episodes 2-4 stack up and binge them). I see it as a fun little side journey within the MCU. There’s no big story at the moment really other than her doing a case-of-the-week type of thing, but honestly, it doesn’t need to be more than that.

They were upfront in that this was going to be a comedy heavy show so it’s either going to work for you or it’s not. Thor 4 didn’t work for me, but I know it did for many. Why can’t people treat She-Hulk that way and accept that this show just might not be for them? Not everything will work for everyone.

It's funny looking back on this. I was enjoying the show in the first half. The middle (episodes 5, 6 & 7) is where it really lost me.

They wont because they want you to have something to watch every week....but god I wish they did more specials

If Hawkeye was a 3 part Holiday Special, it would have been 100 times better I bet.....same with Miss Marvel....She Hulk can be what it is but needs better writing, either be funny or have better cases every week

I would’ve been fine with just a 90-100 minute D+ movie, title it “A Very Hawkeye Holiday”, and cut all the fat from the story and get a much better end product.
