My guess is that it'll get adapted like Skull Island Reign of Kong, Orlando was altered from Kong in Hollywood.

Universal if you are listening. More sets, less screens.

In Universal's defense, screens don't take up much space, and space is a rarer commodity at Universal than at Disney. Also, some properties are much better suited for screens than animatronics/sets (read: Transformers).

Plus, they got the stars of the film involved for screens/musion work. It's okay that they utilize it here. But a racing finale is absolutely necessary for this attraction. This should be closer to Radiator Springs Racers than anything else.

I don't care if there are that many screens I just want it to be a car based attraction not a Tram... I think test track/RSR type is a no brainer for this... IF they have the real estate for it.

I maybe wrong but wasn't there plans for a BTTF or FF ride like that near Kid Zone in the past?

Omg now you're just teasing. BTTF is my favourite movie ever, a BTTF RSR Type ride would make me jizz my pants.

I don't know much about Fast and Furious beyond what can be discerned from the trailers - I've never watched one of the films in my life, but the trailers alone seem good enough to pick up the sense of it. I imagine the RSR system but through a very gritty, urban environment such as the first scene of Spiderman (the warehouses / back alleys) built with real sets would be really cool. Walking through the queue towards load and seeing pairs of cars disappear off into the physical ride space would be great, but I think doing this with screens would be a total waste.

Does UO have the real estate for a test track type attraction?

Yeah. They have enough real estate to build whatever they want too. They are not "out of room" as many people keep seeming to think.

They might not have much choice in where a test track type attraction goes but they have space to fit it in places.... or maybe a place now, this is without removing anything of course.

They still have a descent amount of places to put a new attraction without removing any current ones. For instance, any of the unused sound stages around the twister building (including that random employee parking lot near there) and the area where the tents are normally put up for HHN houses next to MiB.

I heard a rumor from someone I know who is connected in the park saying Fear Factor is the location for F&F? I can't imagine how, but that's the rumor...

Fast 6 was set in London... Maybe... I'm not sure there's enough space there though to be honest... Disaster I am almost certain on... Or the space between MIB and Simpsons.... The thing with universal's space is then they have to worry about where to put the highly profitable HHN

If true, I'd Imagine MIB would have to be removed as well? If not MIB , the extended Queue anyway .

So far we are looking at these locations or general areas for a possible FF type of attraction.

Looking at the above I'd get your last rides of Disaster in while you can.

The Disaster area makes the most sense to me. The Disaster attraction is in massive disrepair & needs replaced soon. F&F had a spectacular box office, will probably be extremely popular in it's Universal Hollywood debut, and is obviously fast tracked for Orlando. Plus a modified attraction should be able to be fitted into that area. My betting line is on that prospective space.Plus, that allows for the Fear Factor area to be used for a future HP expansion adjacent to Diagon.

i only did this to express an idea:

think outside the box. real estate is not always an issue when you look outside the box. transformers didn't have the real estate......it when upstairs. The Hogwarts express didn't have the real estate, they went up in the air. I love the idea of a test track finale for F&F. In the gold marking I made on ThatFloridaDude's map, they can go in the air backstage for a test track finale. It connects two different areas and still leaves room for another attraction in the second area. They don't always duplicate rides exactly. The only thing that they really look into is already shot footage, animated graphics, and ride vehicle design and profile. they can add and (sometimes subtract) to suit the area. Their "space" is limited but I have not doubt that they can't find ways around giving a kick ass attraction. Just encourage people to buy more interactive wands and we just might get more than expected....cough KONG!

I don't see it going anywhere other than the Disaster/San Fran area.

The attraction is on its last legs, is becoming a financial hole for maintenance, and just doesn't generate merch sales. Yea, FFL is bad, but they need the stadium for B&T for now, especially if the Beetlejuice theater goes and Animal Actors goes for Nintendo

Since reviews for F&F Supercharged are starting to trickle in and don't sound positive just how much more will the Orlando version be improved? Are they still going to want to reuse any of the footage for Hollywood or start from scratch? I know when I watched one of the making of videos produced for the attraction and looked at the actors in green screen mockups of the vehicles I started thinking that the attraction might consist of "cars" pulling up to the tram with the actors placed inside the vehicle using musion tech. That way we get more physical set pieces and a better blend of physical and screens. Could something like this still be in the cards for us?
