Are those live displays in the exit open and without glass? If so, how does it smell?

I was expecting Transformer sized screens per the concept art and promo video. Did I miss something?

Just watched the video. First thoughts are that it looks cool, but the execution is poor in that the story is HORRIBLE. Still, i'll hold out final judgement on it until I actually get a chance to ride it, but this isn't making me want to race over there to see it...

It was hard not to have high hopes. First of all, the ride vehicle technology automatically demands hype. Second, it has a solid theme and compelling environment. Third, SeaWorld hyped it, and the perception was that this would be their opportunity to join the big boys in O-Town.

If anyone is planning on going anytime soon, beware, capacity/load/unload is a nightmare per ThemeParkInsider.

Does anyone know the capacity per hour?

Theoretical is about 1600 per hour. But with SeaWorld operations... that means no more than 1200 per hour.

Definitely try to ride in pod 2 or 3. 1 and especially 4 have awkward positioning in a few scenes and do not provide the best experience.

Did we really need an ENTIRE RIDE to see the same penguins we could have just walked in and seen in the old attraction? It's a very interesting disconnect to go from watching a Turtle Trek styled narrative about a CGI penguin to seeing real ones at the end of the attraction. It's a complete waste of the technology when all it amounts to are pretty lights and movie screens. Nothing really happens, here. If I were a penguin, I'd be embarrassed.

I saw bits of the ride before previews. However, I thought it would have been a tad bit longer. I feel like the penguin viewing area and the buildings themeing makes up for its flaws. Its a step in the right direction for seaworld. But after seeing what Disney did with mystic manor, this looks like it could have been made 10 years ago.

Well, it could've and probably could've been better too. Pooh's Hunny Hunt opened in 2000 and it's still a great ride, definitely better than this. It's a pretty area and the attraction looks nice, but the story is just ridiculously lackluster.

this looks like a great ride for the under 10 crowd. which is probably what SeaWorld needs, as most of their "rides" are more thrilling.

I wasn't at all hyped for this, and Im glad I wasn't.

We will have to wait until people get the chance to ride it, but seems to be barely scraping into the D-ticket category (perhaps only because of the ride vehicles). Makes the half-opened New Fantasyland seem like a masterpiece!

At least Diagon Alley will be raising the bar in Florida!

Sorry if I've overlooked this, but I'm at work and using my phone to check the forums. I knew the media event was today, but is the area soft opened for regular day guests right now?

Media event isn't over yet. 1-3 PM. Softs are possible after the event.

LMAO. I'm not watching any videos. I'll experience it for the first time in person.
