So it seams Mice chat is reporting AstroOribiter is closing down. I don't believe it personally but it has had alot of congestion so we'll see if they are right.

They've been reporting that off and on for five years. I've long since stopped listening.

They're also saying the subs are only returning temporarily. Astro orbiter will not close.

After the whole sub thing, I can't trust MC anymore. And really? They're STILL insistent that the subs are closing? What more evidence do these wackos need?

The astro orbiters are being moved up higher up. Plus I hear about a bunch of Star Wars and Marvel attractions that is going to take over tomorrow land. Plus, they aren't going to close down The Submarines now that Finding Dory is coming out. I even hear when the movie opens they will use the new characters from the movie in the ride.

Ok. not this Astro thing again. If the astro moved, it should of already but its not and with the Marvel attractions its kinda here already with Thor and Captain america and Iron man in Innoventions. The subs i do not think that its being redone. from what i'm hearing. There was alot of problems with the Screens in the ride so they have to fix it so thats why its taking this time. Starwars is already here and thats startours. Would it be cool for some more Starwars. yes but its not coming now. They kinda mentoned it in a interview that they wana expand Starwars but Thats going to HWS before if they wana add more of that to Dl. That makes me just wana bring up that disney isn't using that damn space in the Autopia/fantasyland lake section. cmon you can do a dark ride with the space or if they wana do more starwars. Why not endor. but HWS first then possibly cali or Paris.

DLR would do well to bring something like the Rockin Roller Coaster to DCA. a thrill ride that could get people to think about going there or USH.

^ Yes, DCA would really benefit from that! Whatever happened to that Monsters Inc Door Coaster they were talking about? That not happening anymore?

That's was one of those wishful thinking rumors I'm guessing. But One of the parks at DLR needs an absolute thrill ride. and it doesn't have to be themed either. Something original like they used to. If they did decide to take out autopia, they could do a rocket rods type just Flying down they track type ride. I heard about the speeder bike ride but again, it doesn't have to be based on anything. It tomorrowland, just a futuristic ride.

As far as thrill rides in DCA go, there's really only two. Screaming and TOT. I guess you can kind of count Radiators, but not really. It would be great if there was an indoor coaster. And there's some POV's of Rocket Rods on youtube, just look lol

I know it had problems, but it had problems when they tried a fast ride on the people movers track which was meant for vehicles that go moderately slow. Yes California Screamin is a thrill ride, but that's it. Disneyland has more thrill rides than that. Some sort of indoor coaster would be great. Hollywood Studios at DCA has one attraction that can keep a crowd even on off days, and that Tower of Terror in the very back. And the fact that you go through Bugs Land and not even have to through the rest of the land doesn't help either.

No...more...thrill rides. Disney, especially California Adventure, need more dark rides, especially immersive and long dark rides like Pirates. THAT is what DCA needs....

California Adventure has Monsters Inc, Little Mermaid, Radiators, and Toy Story. I think that's plenty dark rides mate ;)
I love dark rides to and wouldn't mind having a great new one at all, but c'mon, wouldn't you sooner rather go on a fun themed scary new coaster ala rock and rollercoaster, instead of another slow dark ride like little mermaid? I think we're due for another ultra immersive thrill ride! Like TOT, or heck, I'd even count the 7 Dwarfs coaster. That's kind of a thrill ride right?

Um, no, I would not rather go on another new "fun themed scary new coaster." DCA needs more dark rides, but more specifically, one on the scale of Pirates of the Caribbean. It needs a long and immersive, people eating, slow/semi slow adventure ride like Pirates. I don't want to see space wasted on another coaster. You can never have too many dark rides.....and I'm talking immersive, long and detailed dark ride. Toy Story isn't a dark ride in my eyes at all. You ride around looking at video screens...

Judging by your username, obviously you'd want a coaster/thrill ride though....lmao

DCA needs more "for the entire family" attractions. And I'm not talking about kiddie rides.

Themeparkguy didn't have the same ring to it :)

California Adventure needs more rides in general! And Pirates is one of my favorite rides, ever. Top 3 easy. But what other attraction is there that's on a similar scale to Pirates? I can't really think of any. Not that I wouldn't love it if one was to come to California Adventure... But does it actually need it?
Don't you think Islands of Adventure gets along fine without one? Or Disney Sea?
And how isn't toy story a dark ride? How else would you classify that?
Also have you done rock and roller coaster? It's a very cool ride that draws a massive crowd daily. A similar ride would be a great shot in the arm for that relatively dead area of the DCA.

I think Disneyland resort has plenty dark rides... you wouldn't be able to ride them all in one day... I would love a themed thrill ride like Indiana Jones but a bit more intense. If you see Phantasialand in Germany, those rides are the ones I want... Disneyland doesn't have any intense rides... don't get me wrong, I love Indiana Jones, probably my favorite ride in the world, but you need someting to get the blood going. Space Mountain is, in my opinion, the most "intense" roller coaster in Disneyland and, well, I need something more intense...

In my opinion, if you need something more intense, go visit Six Flags....

I'd like more immersive adventure/family rides, especially in DCA.
