The Bug's Life movie trailer uses Waterworld score.  There has to be profit somewhere from all the cross utilization.

Condor Flats (especially Soarin's queue) has always used aviation/flying themed soundtracks from all different studios.

Disney upgraded the fountains at Fantasmic and they look very nice. Much cleaner than before.

I like that they move and are upgraded, but I don't like how thin the streams are. They don't make as much of a grand statement as the old stationary ones. Maybe the water pressure has to be adjusted.

I don't know. One thing that stood out during my first showing was how sloppy the fountains were. These appear to be thinner, yes, but I'd rather take precision in lieu of larger, more uncontrolled streams.

Just the nature of the new fountains I guess. I'm a fan.

I'll end up liking them and getting used to them over time. I just hate how very thin they are. Maybe a solution to that is to make it a higher concentration of those fountains. Maybe during the next refurb. I like it overall.

Now if only they can bring back/perfect the large character barges and jetskis.

Wow, I had no idea they changed the fountains in Fantasmic. I just thought it was down because of the Columbia refurb. Rad!

Nope! The Columbia/Mark Twain refurbs aren't always connected to the Fantasmic refurb persay. It's just a good "two birds with one stone" kinda thing. Cuz Fantasmic can go on without either boats in a restaged version. They called it "stuck on the island" or something like that, cuz they restage it for the island.

And I love idealbuildout's work. Absolutely amazing.

What is up with MiceChat "reporting" in their latest update that Astro Orbiter is leaving at the end of March? Why do I feel like that's not going happen? lol

You're right about Mark Twain... It's not required to put on Fantasmic. In fact I've seen it happen. They just have all the characters on stage instead. I used to work there, and I've been told by a Fantasmic lead that if Columbia is closed, so is Fantasmic. Can't skip the Peter Pan segment, the way the show is set up, it's not possible apparently.

Twain refurb is common and finale can be done without it, but the Pan segment is crucial timing wise. Without it the show can't go on because the soundtrack timing and time needed for characters to get into place and whatnot. Everything is timed to the second.

I worked special teams for cleanup and Fantasmic! was always my favorite.

Still haven't done that but it definitely looks fun. It debuted with Winter Dreams.
