Honestly, if Disney won't go all out for this project just leave it in DCA. I love the ride and what they did over there and would love to see it all here but if it's just gonna be a half of what DCA's is, focus on Avatar and pour the money into that project.

If they go this route, the mountain range as far as the top would be cardboard, but the closer pieces and the parts on the ride that interacts or goes around would still have to be full rockwork..

Or figure out a way cheaper yet and find a way to have the ride go through and around a re purposed catastrophe canyon.

Honestly, I wouldn't want RSR to come to DHS after some consideration. Bring something new, and different to help DHS (Incredibles, Monsters Inc) and re-theme Honey playground to Bug's Life.

Agreed. And honestly I would put solid money that Carsland is not going to be built at DHS on that DCA level nor is Radiator Springs Racers. 1. They don't want to spend that kind of money since Carsland was a HUGE check of the DCA refurb and alterations. 2. They want to invest money in something new that will bring in people without spending quite so much.

And I still believe while not impossible for a cheap "looky here" if they were going to re-theme Honey I shrunk the Kids into A Bug's life they would of done that by now.

Basicly everything in the Cat in the Hat ride is some type of Styrofoam too, I stood up and had to touch everything in one of my younger days, all the walls feel like sponge.

How would everyone feel about a Radiator Springs Racers sans rock work (painted flats instead) and with a contrived storyline that we're filming a movie set in Radiator Springs?

To follow up on my earlier post, the "value engineered" Cars Land is what we should be expecting at this point with an outside shot at the real thing per MAGICal sources.

No Flos, 1 flat ride, and a "value engineered" RSR.

I had heard about the movie set theme, and even mentioned it here. But the thing about fake fake rocks is new to me. I don't like it.

I'm ok with no Flo's and 1 flat ride, but no rock work? Not even worth it.

Yep. Would be very unfortunate.

I'd like Flos or Cones. DHS needs better dining options.

It needs more. What it has is really good.

But seriously, Cars Land needs EVERYTHING it has to work. It can't be pieces. It should be all or nothing.
