Right after WESH ran the story on Epic tonight, they went to a second, smaller update on Dreamworks with helicopter footage from today. It's not on their website (yet?) but it may show up tomorrow.

I know that it's identical to the sign shown in the concept art, but it feels really flat to me??

It does feel a bit flat, but it’s exciting to see some progress. Also, interesting how it’s just Dreamworks, no “land.”

Where is this sign in context? Is it where the Kidzone sign was?

Looks like it's just a placeholder in front of the construction wall-- not the "finished" version when the land opens.

A flat carboard cutout on green sticks, man this looks beyond cheap.
Lets hope it's a place holder like the Toothsome sign...

I recognize my critiques of anything regarding this project probably carry little weight here... but that looks really low-rent.

I hope so too, but I kinda doubt they'd make social media posts about a placeholder sign

Doesn't scream "upgrade" to me. In fact, it feels a bit Six-Flags-y. The font on the two smaller signs looks particularly low-rent.

It’s actually quite a downgrade from the Kidzone sign.. pretty sure the middle of it rotated

I always thought the "Join The Awesomeness", especially in that font, looked pretty lame. Like a flier a manager would make for a TM Thanksgiving Potluck.

I'm guessing it's just a temporary construction time sign. Kind of like the stuff they had out for the Minions renovation. It's nowhere close to an opening date, so there's really no need for permanent stuff at this point in time.

You gotta hand it to Universal over Disney. The concept art is actually accurate.
