Horntail opened shortly after the incident but Fireball just opened at 8PM.
^So WHAT WAS this supposed incident, exactly?
I also am in the dark on this and I was at the freakin park today!
Someone was removed from the ride unconscious today. They remained so all the way to the ambulance. As there is no press, I will assume it butterbeer over-consumption.
If they were transported then it will be in the quarterly injury report.
Thanks for the info, Teebin. Here's hoping everything turns out fine for the guest.
With this and the track evacuation/extended downtime for FJ at around the same time, it was a rough day for the Wizarding World..
I suspect nargles are behind it...
Word is they are closing DC at 1pm each day to clear away metal shavings from the brake pads. Don't know about the incident, but the two could be related
What would cause this noW?
That was my thoughts. I dont know if they've ever done similar things in the past, but after running this long you'd think they'd know if the brake pads would need that. Anybody with more extensive coaster engineering knowledge care to share their thoughts?
Sad to see the back of a B&M (well two B&Ms) but it had to happen and I look forward to seeing and riding the replacement.
Nice touch with the "Ministry of Magic" on the bottom of the walls there....
Found this on Reddit but haven't seen any pictures of it on Twitter from people who do updates around the park. Can anyone confirm? Dragon Challenge is currently being dismantled... : rollercoasters
If it's true I assume that means they sold the coasters
I don't know...
It's going to the scrap yard tho...
I doubt anyone would buy these...Aren't they rather worn?
I don't think Universal is of the state of mind to be reselling an old product, in this case, two roller coasters. They will probably be melted down and become the chassis of your next new car.
