Even better for them. I think this is a good gateway. I think they'll realize that adding it to Gaston's makes sense and go on and do that. You'll never see beer carts on Main Street but I think this is a rebirth  and we could expect to see Beer and Wine at all Table Service within the next 5 years.

Good Lord, other comment sections and forums are acting like they just legalized bath salts for the Magic Kingdom. Hearing all of this jargon straight out of Prohibition is making me laugh so hard.

With all of the whining over alcohol, it's like they're actually taking the Mr. Booze song from Family Guy seriously.

(The "10 hours" version was the only one I could find )

Everyone else likes to pretend the legacy is in tact and that TDO doesn't pick and choose what they want to be "Walt's Vision". If they had stayed true to it and never strayed and then decided to bring alcohol to the MK, yeah, I'd be pissed too. Not the world we live in though.

The reactions on the other boards are perhaps some of the funniest I have ever read. Glad to be a part of a saner crowd at UO.

Stitch would probably be pretty good on bath salts. They should consider this option.

My first thought was, "what hell is being wrought on the other forums?". Guess I was right. Thank goodness that, until now, there has never been unruly behavior at the Magic Kingdom and there have been heavy restrictions from visiting there after getting bombed at one of the other Disney parks.

I'm not a member of many other forums...now I kinda want to be just to read the reactions. Everyone who claims selling alcohol at MK takes a dump on Walt's dream should realize he was first and foremost a businessman. That and he's also dead. So yea...bring on the boooze!

I think the Disney execs read my plea. Now bring beer to Gastons for the folks that don't want to make reservations to order a beer. Thanks

"Really, really sad. I know they say it is a theming issue, and helps tell a story. Sorry, I don't remember Belle knocking back Pinots; anyone else?

And for me, it doesn't matter if it is in one restaurant or all the restaurants, Walt's intention was for a dry MK. For me, the dry MK was out of respect to Walt's wishes and his memory. I did NYE a few years back at Epcot, and I gotta tell you, it was sad. It did not even feel like the same place. I remember thinking, "Am I even in Walt Disney World?" But, there was always Magic Kingdom, good ol Magic Kingdom. No matter what, when I was in Magic Kingdom, despite all the updates and changes over the years, it always felt like home, and it always felt like nothing had ever changed at all.

I worry that it is a slippery slope. Kind of like pregnancy. There is no relative terms for pregnancy, no "little bit" pregnant. You either are or you aren't. You are either a dry park or you aren't. And now, MK won't be. And if they aren't dry, what's to stop them from offering beer and wine everywhere?"

 Pregnancy?
