That yellow appears to be plastic mesh. I have never seen a theme park use plastic, only steel mesh. While I have been aware that plastic can be used, I wonder why the change in method at Disney.

I would also add that I like that they give FOTL certificates out to children who are too small to ride. When they come back and are tall enough, they can use the FOTL pass. I also have ridden it with a number of kids, and the first few times, I was caught off guard how violently it can swing, as I am shouting to a squirmy 5 year old, "HOLD ON".

Huh? What is this and how do I get my daughter one of these. She is a little too short right now for most coasters, but she will love all of them when she is tall enough. I know when she is 35/36 inches and can start riding coasters I am going to FREAK out. I took my friends daughter on when she was pregnant and I was freaked out she was going to fly out of the coaster - lol But I know she will have fun, so I am excited. She sees a coaster and says Weeeeeee... lol

Izzy. I only know of it for the Flyers in Camp Jurassic. If anything it is a nice keepsake as it is a nice certificate.

So you just go to the line, have her stand under the measure stick, and then they give it to you? I knew it was only for flyers, just wondering how to get it.

That's about right. Set her up for failure! Heck, an emotional breakdown by her might cinch it.

Have her get measured, see that she doesn't meet the requirement, and most TMs will automatically offer one as a consolation prize. If not, feel free to ask. Just say your friend warned you that she might not be tall enough, and he was able to get one.

These last few the sun was at a terrible angle, plus LM was down so there was a huge crowd all around so I didn't want to hang around too long to get slightly better shots.

There are plexiglass viewing windows on this project? I had been wondering why they didn't put them in the theme park walls. They used to be a constant in NYC skyscraper building sites.

They've been here for about 2 months IIRC. It's a nice little feature and I wish they'd do that with all these projects and not put fake tourists out

Yeah, little slivers in two places at various heights. People really like it too.

Awesome shots, Frenzy! I'm gonna have to go to MK myself and check the construction out in person.

I was there Friday and the plexiglass window closest to Teacups has some blue poly tubing blocking a decent amount of the view. I wanted to try and get a wide angle picture but that wasn't happening

Danke! I have been wondering that for years. I used to love looking 3-5 stories down into the holes in Manhattan; everyone loved looking through those small glass windows.

LOL - She is actually really good at parks and we measure her all the time, that is how we know she is growing taller between her ped appointments :) You have to remember we are at a park almost every weekend, so she tends to not fuss about not riding something.
