So glad Disney takes the time to make sure their bathrooms are decorated so exquisitely but cant update the rest of their park to match the new standards.

Disney disgusts me. Ill go there just to get to a theme park for a day but only if its free.

I confess I'm more disturbed by a fanbase that breathlessly awaits updates on bathroom construction. I mean I realize a lot of it on OU is sarcastic, but still...

There's nothing wrong with new, nice bathrooms that blend into the area--hell, that's good show. The problem is pretending that's "news."

While the Disney hate isn't as bad here compared to other boards, I agree. Actually, send those tickets to me

I still enjoy Disneyworld but I'm not happy with the direction, or lack of direction, they're going in. I'm staying away for a couple of years until this MY Magic+ Next Gen stuff settles down. New Fantasyland seems immersive, but lacking E ticket attractions, it's not a must see for adults. I'm sure the families with small children will be enthused with it though. Florida residents may have different priorities. But as a vacation tourist who drops 9- $10,000 a year in Orlando, I want a vacation that's both relaxing and exciting with no hassles. Staying on site at Universal, with Express Pass, great hotels, ease of travel from hotel to parks, excellent Citi Walk entertainment and dynamic attraction expansion makes my choice a no brainer. And if I want to go outside Universal, its an easy trip, with Universal hotels as my base. Disney's Next Gen will take the spontaniety out of vacations, and I strongly disagree with Disney on that aspect. I think a lot of other tourists will also become disenchanted once (if) My Magic + is fully impemented. At Universal, no lines with Hotel Express, just walk on a ride when you want. It doesn't get better....

I still enjoy going to WDW but I definitely understand the growing frustration. I wonder if WDW management is just waiting for old Disney fans to just die off before giving us an E-Ticket for to be really enthusiastic. I spend at least half my time visiting the different hotels and drinking and the other half waiting hours for 60 second rides, though that's changing now that I have kids. Thank goodness Comcast is ponying up the funds for further expansion at UOR and Sea World as well, so there are E-tickets to be excited about coming to fruition.

I agree it doesn't get better! You really get so many benefits by staying at one of the UOR resorts. You even get a special security line to get into HHN and don't have to wait in the insane lines.

WDW Parks Fan; Thanks for the HHN info. Usually we visit in the spring, but due to my girlfriend's work schedule, we can't go till fall. So we'll try HHN for the first time, which seems pretty exciting. The special security line appears to be a great perk.

I find it laughable that bathrooms are at the forefront of construction updates from around wdw.

Latveria - I agree, kind of sad in a way too.

Mad Dog - You're welcome, the fall is a great time to go.

For all the hate it's getting, that Tangled-themed area looks pretty damn good from the construction pics. But I gotta agree with the majority here, not on the bathrooms, but on the snail-like pace this is all coming together. I hated the staggered opening dates for the FLE when it was first announced, and I hate it even more now. How the hell are you supposed enjoy this new, well-themed Fantasyland when you still have cranes and construction walls all over the place? Doesn't that take away from the famous Disney "magic"?

Exactly. They look good and are much needed. It's the same problem I have with the Be Our Guest hype, it's not a ride or show, so why does it get treated like one.

Two reasons:

1. It's the best part of the expansion (for now).
2. The themeing is great and the food's pretty good.

oh you people take me wrong-I enjoy going to the parks and being able to ride. I love RnRC and TOT, PotC, and all the mountains. I just would not spend my hard earned money on a theme park thats not spending theirs in a valuable way. never said i didnt have fun.

And Rhino, Im furious

Everyone I talk to has this issue too, it is hard to enjoy a "new" land when everything is not complete, walls make traffic flow awful, and the theming is lost by all the construction vehicles and walls.
