Thought this was pretty funny....

From @TouringPlans

Confirmed: Be Our Guest Restaurant will serve Grey Stuff and it is indeed delicious (according to our source).

I'm digging the cakes. And I'm not OPPOSED to them serving fruit drinks at Gaston's either, I just think it's stupid that that's what they are headlining the menu with. I think they should have ditched the froth topping on the fruit drinks and had those drinks instead sit in for wine, adding froth to a different drink sitting in for beer. People *****ing about the Mermaid ride I sort of understand but, while this might be a carbon copy ride from Disneyland, I don't live in CA. I will be new to most people visiting WDW. While I don't think that's the best attitude for WDI, at least it will feel like a new experience for most guests. I also don't think the added grass by Belle's looks like "shag carpet." I looks like grass, and I'm fine with it. I don't mind the upgrade to Story Time with Belle, either. I like her old location better for standard meet and greets than I do a show. If I'm going to take my niece to see a mini show, I'd prefer it be inside with neat animatronics and special effects over outside with nothing but unrelenting sunshine. People need to just get it in their heads that the FLE isn't meant to be Potter, that we are not their demographic, and that it is a vast improvement to the empty space that was 2K. The greatest thing they could have done? No. Heck no. But I'll take two, non-redressed rides and restaurant over the wasted space it was for over a decade. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm content with it being just pretty good because it was nothing before. No old ride was demolished (at least in recent memory). Nothing beloved had to go to make the FLE a reality.

Damn, some of that cuisine sure looks good. The only thing I can imagine is complainers demanding that it be dumbed down to a unrecognizable level.

Also, ALCOHOL IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!

WE know its not Potter, but it looks like they are about to start a marketing push like it is.

Just made my reservation for the weekend after Valentines Day for me and the wifey, we have a yearly tradition where we go up for Valentines every year.

And even though price wise this restaurant isn't premiuimly priced, they still require a CC# for confirmation.

Oh and even for Feb, almost all times are full already :jaw:

WDWMagic posted some photos of the first section of the new castle walls that is now completed and no longer behind construction walls.

The walls are a nice touch. I hope we get some denser vegetation behind it to give the feel of entering a forest.

Checked the wine list and targeted the Flora Springs Chardonnay. Average retail price: $18. Disney retail price: $49. Probable Disney cost: $11

Might as well spend the night in the lonely mens wing of the state penitentiary. The results would be the same yet it wouldn't cost a nickle. :stunned:
