^ Oh you poor thing... lol. Spill the beans man! It's interesting. Fantasy Land is nothing more than a capacity booster for the Magic Kingdom, but I do know that they're going to want to capitalize on a new ride opening at the park (arguably the biggest attraction since Splash). I think they also know they're going to be absolutely smashed by the opening of Harry Potter down the street... so it'll be very interesting to see how they market it. Will they keep it modest or go all out?

Just like with any new ride there are delays that pop up and kinks that have to be worked out that pushes openings back further than planned. I could even be totally wrong also and it could open in February for all anyone knows.

For some reason, I just don't think they're in much of a rush :blank:

They weren't at all. Not sure if they set a time line on when it needs to be open by but I would guess they want it open before Memorial Day

And if they miss it oh well, they'll keep paying regardless. That's the Disney spirit.

I think that is what they were originally going for but then you more than anyone else on here knows how these things go.

I think they could have it open for that timeline easily if they wanted. But FOF and SDMT are the only "new" offerings for the parks for the foreseeable future. Right now the only thing that is possible for next year it seems is the mystery Epcot project (new Soarin' film?). I think they want to spread the openings out so it seems like there's more here than there really is.

I had been wondering about that time frame when I saw the most recent photo update (on another site). It just seemed, to me, like they still had a lot of work to do on the exterior themeing to make that window. Especially at the rate this thing has been progressing over its whole construction history to date. I figured it would take them at least a month to finish Snow White's cottage alone. I think they'll probably wait for Diagon Alley down the street anyway, to try and lure the stragglers a way from the Potter herd.

lol. Indeed. They're going to need a healthy sprinkling of pixie dust to get the attraction looking as magical as that.
