For a F&F attraction here in Orlando, images of a better version of the Backlot Stunt Coasters at the Cedar Fair parks come to my mind. Of course, I also imagine more screens...(In that case, I'll take the Stunt Coaster because that was actually kind of fun)

I wouldn't ever go to any of the so. Cal. parks since I absolutely dislike LA. Been there for business a few times and there's absolutely nothing that I liked about that urban sprawl/freeway mess. :ack: And it's just too damn crowded with too much blight....I'm an adopted son of Orlando. Or at least for two to four weeks each year.

Just read a review on the" site that shall not be named". They wrote that the F&F section of the tram tour was more polished & cohesive than the initial preview ride during last week. Sounds like they made some changes.

More like they just got everything on point, setting off sensors exactly at the correct times all the time without overriding the stop points. The human element required a ton of quick sharp tweeking to insure mistakes couldn't be made. There were other issues that I cannot talk about, but they were eye-rollers, dreadful oversights. Real "WHAT?!?!?!?!?!" revelations.

quickly what I hope..I think using something to the SFXcoaster coming to Dubai but theme the two cars to Hobbs heavy assault vehicle. I just think Dynamics has they're hands for the Bejing project and the Orlando project and it'd make sense for some way.

Isn't there a major garage still under construction? Seth described a nightmare on a normal day there lately, that it is all very confusing with all of the entrance construction going on.

Yes, they are working fast and furiously on the transportation infrastructure, but the process of driving there from Anaheim and parking is a complete clusterf@@k compared to orlando parks.

This. The LA freeway system is a nightmare in general, let alone Anaheim to Universal City. The backups up the hill during HHN (the busiest time for Uni) are ridiculous. Around LA, Universal is kind of an afterthought. If you go, you go for 3-4 hours and get out of there. Potter is going to change this park forever and I'm not sure if it's built to handle the initial stretches of this. There's just too many people that have easy access to the park. Look at what happened when F&F opened and that's just a small part of the Tram Tour, not a whole land. I'll be visiting Orlando in 2016 and maybe Hollywood in 2017.

When I was last there we stayed in Downey, in the morning to USH there were multiple accidents closing major roads, as well as road closures in the city due to a Police Funeral.

In the end I had to get on the satnav an get it to take us on non-motorway routes to be able to bypass everything!

It seems unlikely that they'll be able to fix the stupid in the ride. Plus, I keep hearing the filmed stuff in the final scene is horrendously fake, so they aren't going to be able to add a robot Vin Diesel to the end to make up for that stuff. Plus, what's there is ridiculously short! I don't see them tossing out Twister or Disaster - attractions that keep people busy for 20-30 minutes - for an attraction that will keep them busy for 5 minutes! Having people stand in line for an hour for a few minutes of meh isn't a smart business practice. Yeah, Michelle Rodriguez let it slip that it was coming, but that was the plan. Just like the Jurassic Park Jeep Adventure was the plan, this is probably one that will stay in Blue Sky Land.

You're seriously suggesting Universal doesn't build a ride based on a franchise with the 3rd (soon to be 4th) highest grossing movie of all time? :blank:

I want a GOOD F&F ride as much as the next person, but let's not throw box office around here like it's the be all, end all for a theme park attraction unless you plain saying the same thing about Avatar.

Personally I think Avatar will make a great land, but it obviously hasn't been the most popular among fans as a choice and it's the #1 highest grossing film. So let's just keep that in mind

I think the implication was that from a corporate mindset there's no way that they let a film with that much box office just sit idle in their theme parks.

Also. Can we remember that Supercharged is not a true ride? It's a 5 minute segment of a 50 minute tram tour. It's designed around the limitations of that.

True, I think many are worried about the animation (which some find to be lackluster) coming to the parks...

I'm really not worried about it

Eh, just goes to show Universal can't hit out of the park every time. And that's okay. But I did see a small video clip of the ride portion and the criticisms seem warranted. Video game-like and cartoonish immediately came to mind.

Since reviews for F&F Supercharged are starting to trickle in and don't sound positive just how much more will the Orlando version be improved? Are they still going to want to reuse any of the footage for Hollywood or start from scratch? I know when I watched one of the making of videos produced for the attraction and looked at the actors in green screen mockups of the vehicles I started thinking that the attraction might consist of "cars" pulling up to the tram with the actors placed inside the vehicle using musion tech. That way we get more physical set pieces and a better blend of physical and screens. Could something like this still be in the cards for us?

If USH was a 3 out of 10 then I'm leaning towards a 8 out of 10 here...

I've heard more in between 4-6 for a few people.

And yea, this version will ultimately kick more ass than hollywoods.
