So if the main icon is a Blackjack dealer...then how about a scarezone that is all zombified or vampire showgirls :happy: that would be pretty cool, both with zombies/vampires, and with hot girls in showgirl costumes

I think the whole Casino thing would translate much better into a house and not into a scarezone. Nothing against that concept but, you could do a lot with a Sound Stage and a Vegas concept.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if this will actually be a house. I don't think it will be the icon but I think this could make a seriously great house.

I mean I think a mob controlled Casino house could be cool where they've come and massacred everyone, lots of zoot suits, blood, and tommy gun noises, could be pretty awesome.

Construction is underway on SS 22 as well as both Tents. Sorry no pictures of either. There is really nothing to see at the Tents but while ascending up the lift on the Rockit I saw large cut pieces of plywood being carried into SS22 as well as various wood cutouts. Once I got off the ride,got my camera, and then ran over but everything was inside. The Jaws and Disaster extended queues are also preparing for work to begin.

I read on Nightmares that Jaws is losing their extended que the first week of June.

While I admit I know nothing the situation, I would think after the forth of July would be a better time.
Seems like the EQ is barely open if you figure the set up and take down time, even if it comes down quicker that it goes up. Just sayin.

The more complex these houses become the more time required to build them. Just shows there making more of an effort in the extended queue houses which is a sign of great future set design.

So the permits have updated. Scene names still intact! Or one of them was anyways. Here is what we've got so far Sprung One - Scene 8: Rune Room. Although it doesn't say much, its something! Hopefully more to come.

Now some real speculation can begin. The questions I'm wondering are: Is the room a throw-off code name or legit? If so, is it runes as in runic magic or the runic alphabet. If legit, I'm leaning towards runic magic (if either).

I would say it has to do with witches, or some celtic possibly. Maybe something similar to Blood Ruins from HHN 15, monks, blood, guts, sacrificial stuff.

I think an evil magician who gets people from the audience to perform "tricks" and then kills them on stage in front of the audience would be a neat Icon, just don't know how the whole event would work and revolve around him.

who ever could crack that code good luck. If its a new age in fear why do back 5 years ago. My guess is this theme is going to have some type of old magic theme to it. The Greek words throw me off though.

Oh I know, I was just having fun with it.

Actually ALL of those tricks in that Arrival show are actuall illusions developed by Scott Thomas magic, he's a South Florida magician with A LOT of talent. He was on America's Got Talent and got booted off because he did a trick that was meant to be an emotional trick, and it flew over the judges heads, especially Hoff, but I digress.

The runes rooms completely reminds me of Blood Ruins.
