I heard rumor of HHN doing something similar last year--combining two sound stages for one giant haunt. I'm all for the idea of larger, more epic houses.

That comes with the more epic even longer line.....

Unless it's Creatures or Interstellar Terror, haha. I loved those houses so much. Too bad most guests didn't feel that way.

Creatures worked because it was comedic. It was a B-Movie house so there was a lot to love. Interstellar Terror, in the first weeks anyhow, had really remarkable effects. Both houses were respectable in their own right. Not every maze should be measured by scares alone.

I agree. Creatures and Interstellar Terror were VERY detailed houses. However for clarification with a combined topic nearby neither were helmet light houses.

I loved Creatures and Interstellar Terror. I loved 18 at that. Probably my favorite year.

My favorite year overall as well. Every event has its pros and cons but 18 is still for me that overall was the most fun.

Interstellar Terror is one of my favorite houses. I really wish that we could see a re-make because it deserves it. In terms of cards and Queen of Hearts, an Alice: Madness Returns type house would be amazing.

I'd love to see an Asylum In Wonderland house but I don't think we'll see any concepts that have been utilized return for 2 years or so.

Yeah, I agree. I know it is a popular theme with haunts in general and specifically HHN between Scary Tales 2, Scary Tales 3, Asylum in Wonderland and the scene in Hallowed Past I am sort of all Wonderlanded out.

It's so easy to do a twisted Wonderland because Wonderland is already such a dark place. I think HHN has pulled it off better than any other haunt but in general it is a very over done concept.

Hmmm, I speak fluent Spanish, I definitely need to be signing up for auditions. Maybe we are getting a Mexican drug war house??

Probably not. They are already bilingual people employed at guest services.

My guess is that it's for a barker role in one of the scarezones (like in Saws n' Steam or Containment).

They may have bilingual but when you do 10 to 15 times more groups you need a few more people. We shall see I have never seen any scarectors speak Spanish in all my years going. Are they going to change who they cater to now?
