Halloween Horror Nights 21: Your Luck Has Run Out

Well, it's possible I guess. Remember, Bloody Mary appeared as Mary Agana in her house. I'm hearing we'll receive more backstory/development on Lady Luck as we get closer to opening night, so maybe it will make sense that Lady Luck appears somewhere. After all, that raven/bird must mean something...

True. And I suppose we don't know if there's more to her backstory that could place her in any of these houses. I also think Nightingales is an unlikely place for her to arise because we've seen pictures of the creatures, and they look very, very different from the "monster" side of Lady Luck. I suppose, if anything, the raven could imply a connection to Nevermore, but I still think that's a stretch.

And I think Mary Agana is a bit different, considering Reflections was a house about her character. Are people suggesting she plays a major role in one of these houses, or just that she'll show up like The Storyteller did at the climax of Where Evil Hides?

My guess is, if we're lucky, we'll see cameos of Lady Luck in each of the house - not as a physical scare actor, but as a prop, on a screen, pepper's ghost effect, etc. ala Bloody Mary. Would expand her presence a bit and ease the sting on no icon house. A physical appearance like Storyteller in a house would be lovely.

The website updated tonite where if you play the games you get sent into a multiplayer that unlocks house backstories the first ones up are H.R bloodngutz, forsaken, and nightngales

Jumping right onto the discussion... Has Lady Luck already been ruled out as the Elizabeth Hawthorne from the tombstone on the game site? Couldn't she also be in the Winter's Night house?

^That's very possible. Disney has used it a lot with the castle and touring World of Color Show.

Behind the Thrills posted an interesting rumor about Uni using some more advances projectors for the event.

There's already some projectors up opposite of the Twister queue entrance. It'd certainly make Acid Assault a lot more interesting. Behind the Thrills also has a photo update with props being set up around the park.

Looks really cool and has a lot of potential, as long as they avoid the cheese factor.

I think this could do a lot of good especially in some prop starved scarezones, I think it'll be mainly used in NYC and maybe on the MIB building possilbly.

So, on the backstories, they just revealed the Winter's Night backstory. I'll post in spoilers for those who don't want to see:

The story revolves around Lady Elizabeth and her husband, who were given a choice to spend their "fortune" on one of two properties. After making the choice, Lady Elizabeth took ill. Her husband was making plans to build an elaborate house on their property, but decided to turn the property into a memorial graveyard after Lady Elizabeth died. It seems to me that this is the "icon" house. Lady "Luck" and her husband chose the "wrong" property. Also, the house they were planning on building seems to reference the house of cards on the website. Also, the husband's letter kept referencing cards and luck. He speaks of being dealt a bad hand and how the turns of luck have not been a blessing.
