Ok Rumor Time. Via HHN Rumors yet again, code names are posted.

We know Round 2 in 24 B is Freddy VS. Jason, Blizzard in 24 A, Harry in 22, Reboot:look: in Sprung 1, Beyond in Sprung 2, Dynasty in Parade, Spandex in Disaster, Party in Shrek & No Code Name Needed for 21.

So to recap it sounds likely that a few locations that were rumored may be proven different once the houses are official.

I've watched the first 2 episodes of the tv show and it was decent, but not great. It doesn't feel like Scream though. It feels like another series just using the Scream name. Especially with that different mask. The font on the title is the same though.

Only one that's throwing me for a loop is Spandex, shedding even more mystery on the "Is it RUN3 or something else" debate.

I have a feeling Scream will be based on the films. Marketing is going to want to use the iconic Ghostface mask in marketing. I think it's just a question of whether or not they'll be covering all four films, or just the original.

How so? Sounds more to me like the outfits worn in The Running Man, the obvious inspiration for the original Run.

Well the Rubber Man from Season one sure didn't wear spandex.

Being one who's worn a spandex zentai/morphsuit for a haunt before, the connection is actually really simple. One thing you don't want to have in that kind of suit is a tear or rip...also known as a "RUN".

Considering the rumors mentioned about this version of Run, I wouldn't expect the ever changing maze concept to return to in this one. (To be honest I only see that happening in a upcharge house where they can actually pulse things to make it happen.) The main rumor that's been going about is this version is going to be different then the other two.

Hollywood is having another announcement this week and HHN Crypt is saying we should expect news soon, so hopefully this week.

Not sure. Surprised, honestly. We're a month out from full reveal and this time last year, we already had 3 announcements. It has to be happening soon.

Legacy over on Horror Night Nightmares actually had a pretty good theory as to why we aren't getting announcements...

Freddy vs. Jason is pretty clearly their flagship property to tout for marketing this year, along with Jack as the "icon." Why reveal Walking Dead, Insidious, or Scream early, since it'll just confuse the message?

Don't know if I entirely agree with Marketing's strategy, but this appears to be their move.

So why not announce the original IP's and save the IP's as it gets closer to the full reveal?

Interesting theory. I guess I could buy that. But its been awhile since they announced FvJ. With HHN around the corner, they will have to start releasing weekly at some point.
