Lower your expectations for both Chance's house and SZ. Also, if they weren't rock bottom already, lower them for TWD.

Cautiously raise your expectations for Survive or Die. A lot going on in that SZ apparently.

Expect Ghost Town, AHS and Exorcist to be the top candidates for HotY.

Wow, can't say I'm surprised on chance. Soon as they announced 3D for it I knew it was doomed

my expectations were low when i heard of 3D as well but now my only hope is that the costumes look cool.

i wonder if it would have been better to give chance a show instead of a house.

Yeah I don't think there's any doubt to that.

Last year seemed to be so close to perfection. This year seems to have an even more promising line up, but with the way Chance seems to be being handled creates a giant void in what should have been an outstanding well rounded year. It really almost feels similar to a situation where some property was pulled or switched halfway through the planning and some quick changes had to be made. That being said I'm still hoping many things turn out better than expected.

Yeah... I'm hearing some goat talk about Exorcist. And the (not public) picture I saw was legit impressive. Hopefully the cast can pull it off.

I would greatly appreciate your input on booking the repository at Halloween horror nights. I was wondering if you guys know if it will involve heights or is it just a VR simulation of heights. I am going to be visiting from Ireland with a friend and he isn't great with heights. He can handle rides like transformers and Spider-Man without any problem so I was wondering if it will just be the simulation of being up high like in those rides or are there actual heights involved? When I called to book the lady on the phone advised against booking if you have a fear of heights. I don't want to book and find out my Friend can't go because you will be up on high platforms or something like that, but at the same time don't want to wait for the first reviews to find out exactly what is involved only to find out it's just a VR simulation of heights similar to the rides I mentioned and they no longer have reservations available.

I can't guarantee it, but I'm assuming that the heights are simulated.

In the legalese on the site, it mentions that guests in wheelchairs can remain in them.

I doubt they would be OK with people in wheelchairs rolling around in high places while wearing goggles.

yeah saw that about the wheelchairs. thats what made me think it'll just be simulated heights!

Add to that the strange academy of villains show and yes, compared to last year it feels like it might not be as perfectly rounded as last year.
i know last year being the anniversary year it was kind of a special but still.

No inside info on this year, but, if I had to guess based on these cryptic comments... They were probably expecting/fighting for a Chance show. Something happened, and they couldn't do it. Chance house thrown together.

Well, Chance was the one house I didn't know in advance (aside from the first two announcements. And I had heard Chance would have a show, but that was AFTER the house was announced.

Who knows. I think Academy will be better received than people expect.

No inside info on this year, but, if I had to guess based on these cryptic comments... They were probably expecting/fighting for a Chance show. Something happened, and they couldn't do it. Chance house thrown together.

Maybe Erin didn't want to work that hard this year. It is a ton of hot work to be on the stage 3 - 4 times a night for 6 weeks. I wouldn't blame her if she opted not to do it.

I have a hard time believing that. She's accustomed to doing these shows on a regular basis. This is a character that she has helped to create over the years and now that that character is being put in the spotlight by herself she would opt to just walk the streets during the day as Lucy?

I was informed about Chance house a while ago, so this plan would be in effect since early to mid spring.

I could see as a reasonable explanation if the house and show were planned and something came up and the show had to be changed to a scarezone. This would also explain a show that basically took nothing more than a phone call to book a dance act.
