That’s why it wasn’t used in 2012. But if four house locations are down in the Studios (MiB, Parade, and Sprungs), then it would be worth the hassle.

Could they not just use one of the new parade buildings? Would construction really be that far along that the Sprungs couldn't be used for 28?

Only thing I could possibly see is the area where the sprungs are getting used for a tower crane. But even then I feel like they can just move them further back on the plot.

If they absolutely needed IOA, could they not do a phased opening, where they close IOA to the public at 7 (maybe keep VB open late) and open IOA at 8 for HHN? USF would be open at normal time.

Places like Scream-a-Geddon do phased openings for their houses and such (obviously HHN is much higher attended). There are big potential ops nightmares with this though which is why it would only be if absolutely necessary.

They did a kinda phased opening in 2004. But again, this layout enters through IoA. The Studios was the one opened later. With FnF opening, that’s the side with incentive to stay open later.

They recently built 2 massive parade buildings, which both appear to be bigger than the current one. Also, it looks like the space between the F&F building and the San Fran facades could be used for a house.

Right behind the spring tents and to the right of the current parade building.

Yea, I'm just expecting we'll just have a longer queue next year to the new parade building.

They can also just move the sprungs back as well, with longer queues for them as well.

Yes, the original parade building has been used for houses as long as I've been going to the event.

To say something, I wonder if that could mean if it isn't closing this January, that they may be able to use the entirety of the Parade Building typically used for HHN as for a house, especially with the new parade structure dwarfing the old one.

I'm guessing Mummy's Queue. It was used for Legendary Truth a couple years ago, and they can just set up an extended queue in front of the facade if need be.

Isn't the Mummy queue used for the HHN Tribute Store?

To ask, if USF is still the only park for HHN next year (which I doubt); what stops them from putting a maze in that portion of backstage within F&F (or close-by that and Mummy)?

I'm unsure of exactly where you are talking about, but if it's where I think, then it would be the fact that it's an emergency/fire safety exit.

In Bio's aerial report, there was a bit of backstage space here.

If that's the Emergancy/Fire Safety exits, then I can understand that then.

There's certainly area there to do something, but i'm not sure that there's enough room for a house. I'm almost sure of it actually. There's barely room enough to fit a tent down in there and you have to have room for emergency exits in case of a fire alarm or some other incident, which there really isn't room considering how small of a space that is.

Then food for thought, what if that area is used for make-up for the actors of the scarezone that goes through San Francisco?
