Loved that little museum. Two TV show scenes always come to mind. When she impersonated Harpo Marx when Harpo was on the show, And, of course, the candy factory assembly line. And I liked the minature breakdown of the original TV show sets. She will be remembered by many.

the nbc store at 30 rock in nyc has a lot of nbc merchandise even retro stuff but God is it expensive!

I grabbed a few photos before it closed. I figured I would share some.
Passed by this every single time and I don't recall ever going in there once. With what's replacing it, I don't think I'll go in there either! Maybe once...

I went in there once near the end of the day. I was super tired but it was so relaxing in there. And I'll never forget watching that video of Ricky singing "I love Lucy and she loves me." For some reason, it was just one of those quiet peaceful moments and one of my best Universal memories.

A little close up, but I snapped a quick picture of the entrance of the former Lucy - A Tribute while at USF yesterday.
Woah, not even a warning. I guess Universal just assumes that no one cares about it lol. Glad I walked in there a few weeks ago for the first time in years before it closed.

The Darkroom on Hollywood suddenly has Betty Boop theming on the outside.
A Boop signature is on the lense of the camera, and small hearts line the bottom of the windows, now filled with Boop merchandise.
I can only assume this will be the new home of Boop-based merch when Hello Kitty takes over the entrance of the park.

That actually works cause her M&Gs are usually in that area.
Pish! When Disney announces something big, Universal has 6 years to build 3 mega attractions plus 19 new hotels totaling 50 thousand rooms... and two pair of pants.
I was told by the TM in the new store today, and I posted on twitter, that it's only a temporary move until they get done remodeling the entire interior of the former location.
Sucks. Anyone know where all the memorabilia will go? Back to her estate probably?
damn another one gone. im heading to uo next month but seriously i never would have thought when i was there 3 years ago would have been the last time i saw half of the attractions
