Because people would say, "WTF is Shocker?"
Some people, yes.
I've never seen the movie so I may be mistaken, but judging by the description, Shocker doesn't really match the house description that much. From what I've gathered:
Shocker: Guy murders people, is sentenced to the electric chair, and comes back as an energy source taking over people's bodies and continuing his murder spree until he is stopped in the real world.
Afterlife: Guy murders people, is sentenced to the electric chair, and is attacked by his victims in the Afterlife.
Am I missing something? As I said, I've never actually seen the movie and I'm just judging by the description on IMDB. I see how it's a little similar, but there's definitely key differences.
I'd wager that most people have no idea what Shocker is. I had no idea what it was until someone mentioned it last night.
Also, unless the Wikipedia description of it is wrong, I don't see a parallel between the two other than a serial killer being executed.
...I'm guilty to admit that whenever I hear "Shocker" I automatically think of the Spider-Man villain.
Like I said.
I am sure a lot of youngins will say WTF to AWIL as well.
You mean Electro?
Spider-Man has a villain named Shocker too. Electro shoots electricity, while Shocker shoots vibrational air blasts.
Ah, sorry. Didnt know
Well, back to topic, I suppose
Doesn't matter. It's Wolfman in a city setting. Wolves scare people. It will be a success.
Some pictures from inside the house as released by Universal..
Definitely getting the "In-Between" vibe from those pictures.
Can't wait. :doggie:
Oh crap. I might walk out of this one crying. (And I don't scare easily...)
This one's gonna be so trippy and disorienting! Awesome!
The lighting work there simply looks plain amazing. These houses just keep getting better and better.
The pictures make me dizzy, cant imagine walking thru this after a few drinks in my system
I hope we get a room similar to the christmas light room in Penn & Teller last year.
Doubtful, but really hoping for a scene like Psycho (2006) with all the "eyes" on the costumes. One of my favorites.
