Hollywood Drive-In Mini Golf

No one has taken whole videos of the course !!! If I lived in Orlando I would have gone.

I cant believe we havent gotten any update about this. -_________- Wtf is up with this minigolf course ??? Anybody know anything...

But that doesn't mean that someone will play the 36 holes within the first 24 hours of it opening, have another person videotape them, then upload it to YouTube. I assume we will see something along the lines of that over the weekend. Patience is a virtue, MIAboy.

belive me, if i had a gopro with a head or chest mount, I would have at least done one of the courses by now... but it is hard as heck to do it by yourself! that and mini golf is better when friends...

For those curious to what happens at the 18th hole (aka, the interiors that are not visible from the moving walkways), here's a description of them until we get some pics/video:

Alien Worm: A very elaborate, constantly moving lighting scheme makes it appear as though the worm is "digesting" you. The hole is in the center of a constantly moving turntable.

Haunted House/Evil Laboratory: You move down a long hallway with stonework very reminiscent of Hogwartz before arriving at the Laboratory proper. Guests hit their ball into a giant Frankenstein-esque apparatus; upon successfully doing so, the machine "activates" and churns the ball through a variety of mechanisms. This is all done behind a mesh fence (the installation of which was partially the cause of the delayed opening).

Played the Haunting of Ghostly Greens course this afternoon. If I would have known that people wanted video I would have shot some. There was maintainance being performed on parts of the course, so they were offering a 20% discount to all players (this course was still more expensive then playing either of Disney's miniature golf courses). The main problems that we experienced included balls being driven into traffic by a loop da loop part of one of the holes, and the Rube Goldberg device was not working quite as it was supposed to on the final hole.


Where the ball hit the street. My brother and one of Universal's maintainence team members are looking for the ball.

This is probably my favorite pic. Tunnels, for whatever reason, are always what I consider the best part of any course. I mean, when have you ever had the chance to be digested by an alien worm before! lol
