I'll say what I always say when it comes to giving out info, although mine is limited to the happenings around a college football program, they apply here just as well. The fastest way to lose access to any and all "insider" information is to tell where you got it from.

This is extremely random and off topic but i was at Universal Studios the other day and i noticed pictures of Nicolas Cage taped on random spots of the park all day?...lol his face was hideous in it but it was pretty hilarious. I was like what the heck is going on?!! I saw one on the Simpsons trailer window, one on the big statue in the mummy line and a couple others in some different spots. Im sure it was just somebody being funny but i i wasn't sure if there was anything to it. It was pretty enjoyable to keep spotting them though lmao

Probably. Remember we don't have any official opening date on JP or any confirmation of anything starting to physically take place there. I still believe there are very few connections between rides and new things going on with the movies the ride is based on, just two very different industries, even if they are the same company.

Actually we don't have confirmation that anything will be changing at all in JP

I hope Steve Kloves rewrote the script. (sorry, I am in the middle of reading a book that, as it turns out, he fixed... bigtime). But maybe he is better at adapting books than screenplays.

Don't know if this has been said already, but the gates that usually swing open right when you enter JP on River Adventure have been completely removed from the gateway/arch (whatever you call it). Probably a good call considering you could always see them closing from the boat in front of you. (btw I didn't know exactly which thread to post this in, so I decided on the most popular JP thread).

Correct. They usually disappear during their dry, but they're trying to do without this year.

As far as being able to see them close, it's all about the dispatch interval. They can actually set it so you'd never see that by lengthening the time between dispatches, but obviously the line would get longer. It's a balancing act really. If you go in the winter when no one want's to ride you'll find the show quality is a lot better because of that. If you go in the middle of the summer it's possible to see the boat in front of you, never mind see the doors closing from them (they basically just get to the closed position then re-open for you).
