Or maybe it's for Kong.

I think that's exactly what it means.

Maybe that test at WnW wasn't just for Volcano Bay.

Maybe the Fallon queue-less rumor from a while ago is true as well.

Maybe...

I'm not thinking that's for Kong. I'm thinking it's for JPRA. If you're testing queue-less waiting, you don't use a ride with an amazing queue. You also do something that's already in a lull. After all, why try a test on a ride where you already have opening day crowds + issues to deal with? And, you can get bigger crowds than WW, while not severely impacting IoA as a whole.

That's what I'm thinking. It would also work with the ticket bands that are coming.

Hmm... Me thinks those bands will debut resort-wide when Volcano Bay opens.

I believe this is the project they were working on behind the wall at the Camp Jurassic stroller parking. While I was there a couple of weeks ago I saw two workers come out of the door in the wall. Oddly enough, one of them was carrying a stack of papers labeled Toon Lagoon games. Make of it what you will.

If this is a test then using it for PT makes sense. After all, it has a long wait. JPRA will not have a long wait as we head into fall. It seems too far away for Kong.

It makes perfect sense. It also seems like the perfect match for the new locker system being used by Hulk which i imagine will get rolled out to the other locker systems.

I always thought it seemed a little odd that you'd have to put your ticket back in your pocket left to float about. I'm going to assume that the bands will be waterproof too which will make going on the water rides a lot safer as the current paper tickets are easily destroyed when wet and as we all know, you get soaked on the water rides at IOA.

I know we are going off topic but...

I'm thinking that there will be two kids of bands handed out: The temporary plastic one's that you see at Aquatica and other water parks for day and short stay guests, and a more durable and flexible rubber/plastic for APs and hotel guests.

EDIT: This sounds oddly similar to Magic Bands. Hopefully we get a similar system minus FP+ and the complete infrastructure overhauls that caused MyMagic+ to be the disliked and money-sucking system it was.

The fact that it says 'Pteranodon Animal Control' on the inside wall is the biggest indicator to me that it's for PF, rather than another attraction in JP or Kong.

Nice catch. I'm now inclined to believe this is for PF as well. Plus, PF actually has wait time + queue issues, whereas JPRA really doesn't.

The walls are gone so I was able to get a better pic including the logo.

Has the kid restriction been in place since park opening? Or was that a reactionary move to capacity/wait times? It'd be great if it were lifted, finally. It'd be like having another new ride at IOA for me since I've never done it.

Well when they let adults ride it back in the spring they only let us on 1 per vehicle so there must be some kind of weight limit.

Apparently this is now open, but you still need one child rider to be under the height limit.

Are they still letting adults ride Pteranodon Flyers towards the end of the day?

USJ's JP area uses mossy and suttle colors and has more granite and rock features throught the Land. It looks much more Jurassic park and just has a general exotic feel. Ours looks like a public school court yard. If there is a JP refurb in Orlando, it should be molded and redesigned after USJ's Jurassic park area (IMO). I really think it is the nicest JP land out of all of the universals. Their restaurant even has a raptor show in which warning signs come up on the menue monitors above the food court lines, and red sirens start to sound around the restaurant. Raptors come into the restaurant while JP music is playing, the whole Shibang.

There are also other dinosaurs such as triceratops and spinasorous's walking around the park.

And lastly I rather have what USJ has, which is a discovery resturants rather than a discovery center and separately, a JP restaurant. Here's my reasoning. No one really cares about our DC (discovery center), and the restaurant isn't that amazing. Since our DC has two floors, we can have a nice remodeled VC on the top floor, and an even nicer remodeled restaurant on the second floor. The restaurant can even have the same raptor show as the one in USJ. Good idea?

I still like my idea. I think the restaurant would be unnecessary in the hypothetical future where the Great Hall restaurant in WWoHP exists. I'd combine the dinosaur interaction parts of your idea and the repaint of the Center with my idea above.
