I didn't realize that Mako will only have seven rows. What would be the reason vs the usual 8 rows for b&m's? I guess for that matter why is Apollos 9 rows?

Seaworld was asked about that by someone, can't remember who now, their answer was something along the line that it makes the ride more dynamic. One less row diminishes the weight, so less resistance, keeps the overall velocity of the ride higher.

Mako has power on at this point. Noticed green LEDs illuminated on the brake run.

I imagine it will be in softs by then since it has an early June opening. I imagine they would like a good 2 to 3 weeks of softs since others have said Sea World and Busch normally does softs.
