Not a bad idea...

Would be smart to have this and find a way to connect to Avengers Campus ala a Hogwarts Express style experience (if Pandora isn't taking up the Hollywoodland area).

I still believe that whatever happens at Disneyland (style, aesthetic, rethemes, etc.) will find it's way to WDW at a similar level... so doubt they lean on this too much.

I would loveeee that

Bring back the PM in a way and also make a ride where you can go to two parks....issue I guess would be the park hopping rules and could upset people to tell APs they have to wait until 11 AM to get on a ride

A Fantastic 4 E-Ticket would not be a bad anchor for a new TL at all…in fact it would be perfect if they’re going to go back to the Atomic Age theme (Which is what they should go for)

Have it be DL's version of Tron. Maybe not the exact same ride system but something more modern, do like a coaster/dark ride ala Mummy and Hagrids at Universal. Already have a perfect idea for a ride vehicle

Man you must be cooking because something smells good in here!

DLR NEEDS a new coaster badly so this is perfect. Make it like Gringott’s or Uncharted from Port Adventura!

I'd prefer Marvel NOT be included in Tomorrowland, they've already created a designated land in DCA. Just add an F4 ride over there since the bar is already set very low for expectations.

Tomorrowland needs an update, but not with a Marvel IP. I'd rather see something Stitch related (not former Great Escape or scrapped Mountain). I'd even throw in the forbidden IP that is Alien (but that's wishful thinking).

Peoplemover needs a return, but Rocket Rods made that a costly endeavor to happen.

TRON could happen, hopefully NOT a clone 3.0, but at this point, it'd probably depend on the success of ARES. My faith in that is not high.

My hope is a new TL is in the cards for the 75th in 2030. One IP I would add to the list of things hopefully considered are the Incredibles if 3 does well.

Yeah, I absolutely get the desire for a space race era Tomorrowland refresh, but I don't have much interest in seeing a comic book IP overlaid on it.

Why? They already have their own ride in DCA... they violated California Screamin.

Besides, Buzz Lightyear is already the existing token sci-fi Pixar IP for Tomorrowland. And it still gets long waittimes

Oh yea, we need the former "theater" space put to use again. I'd love for Captain EO to be brought back, but sadly that won't happen. Honey I Shrunk the Audience is unfortunately not an option. IF they had to dip into Pixar, there is Wall-E for the family crowd.

I think that's the cool thing though about the idea of having the F4 in Tomorrowland. If they base it on the current one (same aesthetics and all) it would fit in perfectly. I don't think this version of the Fantastic Four would fit in as well in Avengers Campus imo. This version feels less comic booky and more 60s scfi. The same vibe as Disneylands Tomorrowland

Disney has no problems using the same IP across different parks.

I digress though. With Disney aiming for a more exclusive things across the resorts mandate, Incredibles can be at MK's TL. It could be the way WDW gets the TDS Pan/Infinity Defense ride system.

The trend at DLR is theater attractions are going by the wayside. California Dreams went for Mermaid, Tough to be a Bug went for Web Slingers, and Philiarmagic won't be replaced with another theater once HL goes for either Avatar or something else. You could put a decent sized dark ride in the TL theater.

The two oddball rides left are Nemo Subs & Autopia. Nemo should be considered part of Fantasyland despite its entrance being in Tomorrowland

As for Autopia. It's also a classic, but if we got something more people-eating in that space it wouldn't be a loss.

The issue with ANYTHING new going into either space is it'd require monorail downtime & retracking. Same goes for that extended portion of the people mover track above Autopia.

There's also the wasted space that briefly was home to Carousel of Progress.

Yea, there's a reason why Disneyland keeps neglecting a Tomorrowland overhaul. It's going to be expensive. Of course, they need to have a clear cohesive vision for the entire land. We don't need another mishap that is Haunted Mansion's recent ....changes/giftshop.

I hear you, but if the alternate is to have TL rotting away for another 30 years, I will GLADLY take the alternative.

Come on now, if they wait another 30 years what they've got going now will be just as dated and nostalgic!

Another option is that huge chunk of land goes for Frozen. Lets be real, its only a matter of time before the IP gets some major rep at DLR and this would be the only logical place to do it unless they go for DCA if they decide to rebrand the park into some sort of cinematic adventure park to coincide with Avatar debuting at the end of this decade or the beginning of the next.

That has already been the long-running rumor for the past several years pre-covid of course (along with Beauty & the Beast + Tron). I believe the land space was to be split 2 rides for Fantasyland, 1 for Tomorrowland.

If DisneyForward got Frozen, we'd most likely get the boat & coaster ride combo package.

If that Cars trackless all-terrain ride system they're putting in Magic Kingdom is great, I wouldn't mind a version in Disneyland Tomorrowland. It could replace Autopia and have an out-of-this world phosphorescent alien landscape of weird mountains, rock formations, and tunnels. That would be fun to drive up and around, day or night.

As we saw with the direction they went in with Avatar at DCA it would likely be based on Frozen 3 and 4 knowing at the rate Disney builds. Maybe they'll go with a trackless ride instead of boat ride as well.
