NFL Regular Season Discussion Thread

I have so loved watching him play and will miss his presence dearly, he was and will most likely always be the most “Philly” Philadelphia Eagle to ever play for my birds and I can’t wait to see what his future holds off the field now.

Cheers to a HOF career!!

Have genuinely been considering a Jason Kelce tattoo, lol. Was lucky enough to do a Lincoln Financial Field tour in December and got a picture of his locker - so glad that happened before he retired!

Hate the Eagles, and most Philly teams (Sorry, Allison! haha... Go Heat!) but respect the hell outta Kelce. Shame Schefter undercut his announcement to be "first", twice!

I also expect an apology

Yeah, I wanted Kelce to cancel the retirement midway through just to spite Schefter lol

I searched around but didn't find a thread? Have already briefly discussed the sport with a couple members here and seen multiple icons/banners

Seems "NFL" is too short to search here, so I've titled it "American Football" to help

New season is only a couple weeks away. Are you hyped for your team's outlook this season?

[Jake S]

I’m a Rams fan and I’m trying to keep my expectations in check … but it should be a lot of fun one way or another.

We do have this thread, but looks like it hasn't seen any posts since 2024:

Thread 'NFL Regular Season Discussion Thread'

Nov 19, 2023

Kinda surprised we don’t have one going so, here we are. Feel free to discuss your team, chat during Sunday redzone, share fantasy teams or tips, anything is up for grabs!

My team is the Patriots so… yikes.

My adopted team this year now is the Houston Texans. CJ Stroud looks very legit, they’re a team to not only watch this year are moving forward.

Looking forward to chatting football with you all!

I'm a Bucs fan, but am realistic that we're probably not getting very far as long as Bowles is still here.

Weird, I had searched for this but couldn't find it. Might be because "NFL" is too short to search. Can we get the thread retitled for future reference, or at least it tagged?

Also, although I'm from Boston I am a Bengals fan (my Dad is from Cincy, grew up a Reds fan too). Feel very good about this year! WHO DEY!

So glad someone commented in here so it pushed to the top of my watched threads.

Looking forward to seeing how the Eagles look with an actual modern offense.

Im a Cardinals fan, I have zero expectations and just hope everyone has fun

Gotta love the Rams not understanding simple time zone changes

[Columbo]

My beloved Bengals' defense showed up today!

I'm originally from Buffalo and, as much as I have sometimes wanted to shake it, it is in my blood. This game was like so many in the Josh Allen era:

We'd be nowhere w/o him.

Yes, for sure. If any team is 'The Quarterback", it's the Bills.

That was probably most entertaining week 1 in a minute. Usually week 1 is chaos cause no one’s ready, but each game felt more legit yesterday. Can’t pin point why but I loved it.

Lots of entertaining games. Just a couple clunkers. ...Then there's, "The Browns are the Browns"

It was nice to see Jalen Hurts do all of the things that people insisted he couldn't do for years
