Were a ton of posts deleted from multiple threads or something? I'm seeing nothing from today in the threads I'm watching anymore.

Check the 'new out forums' thread, there was a server error which caused all recent posts to be deleted.

In summary of what happened here: Nintendo will be very immersive, probably not relying on 3d that much. There should be some amazing meet and greets.

Yea. Nintendo and Star Wars coming back to back (or in the same year, who knows) will be one hell of a treat for us

What makes me curious about the M&Gs is that theres a good question to wager. With the designers of the Raptor M&G hitting it out of the park on the puppet itself, will we see something made for Nintendo by those same people behind the puppetry of the raptors?

I would think especially with Bowser, that they give those designers a more..larger budget for some of these M&Gs, especially Bowser if that comes to fruition.

Before it was deleted by a server error I too suggested Bowser. I thought of something like a stilt walker within a huge suit that could maybe control the face to make him roar and stuff. Mario & Luigi I imagine would be the same suits Nintendo themselves have used in the past (unless Uni totally surprises us with talking Mario & Luigi), but I could definitely see them working on doing a better Donkey Kong.

Makes me wonder why Uni hasn't set up a M&G already. All it would take is a phone call. "Hey, can you send some suits while we build all this cool stuff? Thanks."

Because, AFAIK, the Uni M&Gs will be completely new

Well, my guess of talking Mario & Luigi may not be too far off then. It's all I can think of to make it more than what Nintendo themselves have done with the characters.
Edit: just remembered this.

Doesn't seem so far fetched now.

The Mario and Luigi costumes are solid. The Donkey Kong one needs work. For one, needs to be a lot bigger. Can't wait to see Universal's depictions. Hopefully they go all out and not just do Mario and Luigi. Would like to see Toad, Diddy Kong, Link, Samus, etc. etc.

I have to think that they want to go higher than that. Hell; Disney has a full mickey costume with those voice items in there, I can see Samus; Mario; and Luigi (if they have Samus) say things to you, while their in a new type of costume, that mixes usual meet and greet suits, but also bringing that technology from Disney in a way that's innovative.

Then Bowser, Pikachu, Yoshi, and others, I can see puppets used for them.

My point was that since Nintendo has already done a talking thing it wouldn't be far fetched to see talking costumes.

Oh, and Samus should never talk. Like, ever again. So terrible....... She's better as the strong silent type. Trust me on this.

I can't wait for the talking Link M&G...they don't even need a voice modulator for that.

I guess we know where you stand on Other M lol.

I would also prefer if she didn't talk. The suit alone will be enough of a draw for me, but it wouldn't be horrible if she did. It would probably be a bit more engaging for people less familiar with her character to have her talk.

Isn't there a rumor of Universal doing a new night time fireworks show to replace CineSpec? If so, I put my vote in for this music to play during some kind of Nintendo medley.
