My problem with the video, at least to me, is that it didn't feel they were putting a good effort to hype it up. We've seen the floating mountains, the waterfalls cascading, and the plants. They didn't spend a lot of time on the things we haven't seen. I thought the food and drink would have been a good start, but it was only a few seconds and it was very obvious she faked the "it's good" (not saying it is or isn't, but she was starting her sentence before she took the fork out of her mouth).

Because no one responded in 15 min? Look we all know people come here predominantly for Universal, not Disney. The hype won't be the same in comparison to other boards and Twitter.

But my quoting was more aimed at the other one comment, so I apologize for misunderstanding your original statement.

The floating mountains don't really look convincing at all. Other than that, the land looks good.

I don't think they ever really would unless they add a lot of fog to make them appear to be floating and unconnected.

I'm more impressed by the engineering than the visuals. I didn't realise there would be that much water falling, which puts up another notch as well with how much weight is supported with so little.

It could have been a misunderstanding, but there was no question associated with your post. Probably why it was taken the wrong way, especially with the post following yours.

I get the impression that people probably have more pressing issues at 9am on a Thursday. Stuff is posted quickly here no doubt but I've seen announcements from Universal take hours before they're posted here.

That looks pretty darn cool, I'm super excited to see it all. This cements AK as my favorite park, followed by Hollywood Studios and Epcot tied. Magic Kingdom comes in last because I'm not in the toddler/family demographic.

Maybe, they didnt want to reveal too much though.
Kinda of how they did when they did the first fantasyland expansion. We knew what was coming but we didnt quite know if you get my drift.
I dont know, I would assume they want the guests to fully be taken in by whatever surprises they have in store.

Also.... does anyone know if they built this Pandora land with room to expand since there are future movies in line for the franchise?

Well yeah, but you still give them little tastes of the money shots. They really didn't even show the outside areas that much either. When Cameron and Whoopi were touring it, the cam was angled up.towards the mountains.

I don't think they finished paving the walkways. A couple times you can spot dirt paths they're walking on.

Remember when they did that show about sending people on a random vacation and the family ended up at UOR and Diagon but they only walked around one small corner of it? Yeah same thing.
