I did a quick browsing.. dont want to totally spoil it for myself. It's ok looking. The shaman when moving looks legit.

And again.. all in the same little building..

Some initial thoughts,

the River Journey, looks stunning. The lights, the sounds, the PROJECTION's.

This is stuff that I am amazed, as I wondered if they would do some amazing stuff with Projection mapping, similar to Alice in the sense of the modern vocabulary. And that the Shaman, when moving; looks amazing in many distinct way's.

It's a Rohde ride, give it a few months and then maybe they'll use the new Pirates boat tech so it can "suddenly go backwards" instead at that scene.

If I am not mistaken, 7DMT had Pov's during it's media day a month before opening.

I am not surprised that POV's exist now for Na'vi River Journey.

Yeah, but did they need to be in individual plastic bags in your park about a call to action for conservation?

The boat ride is exactly what I feared, it's "Pretty" boring. The Shaman AA is good, but the ride is nothing but looking at plants being glowy, and some stuff on screens in the background. Also, what the hell was up with the generic little dog yap in the sound effects?

Strangely, River Journey it reminds me of Pirates.

Not the Pirates we know today, but the original Pirates of the Caribbean. It's not supposed to have a story, nor is story important. It's just a chance for you to see the nature of the planet in one of it's better forms (as I have doubts on the Nighttime aspects of the land itself), in a calming environment.

If I were to go in, I'd do the attraction at night. Just so it's much more of a seamless experience overall. While I would do the River Passage in the night; I'd most likely do the Banshee during the day, depending on how it is handled.

But I am more excited about Banshee, in the technological aspects of it.

Eh, it's a simulator in 3D on a little wiggle platform. I think it'll be interesting but i cant imagine it being my favorite ride.

Oo.. that guy at the end with "Alright.. you ready..." is trying to top Gary Sinise in the worst pre-ride video line reading ever category.

OMGURRRD!!!!

I am blown away by it all. So incredible. The river journey is gorgeous, the AA is insane. The AA in the FoP queue blew me away also.

I've looked at a few things without being full-on spoiled so here's some quick thoughts:

1. Merch still looks awful. Banshee puppet looks cool.

2. Land looks beautiful. The floating mountains shot looks underwhelming. Maybe it'll translate better in person?

3. Menu looks good and interesting, especially the French Toast and Sausage.
