We've known that it would be a musical ride for a long time. What exactly is new?

Interesting how they're selling the Valley as an attraction. Does that mean most of this land will be a nature walk or something like Camp Jurassic?

Disney will have to do no such begging. I can't even imagine the number of people who will show up at DAK on May 27th.

Florida hasn't received anything this amazing...ever. I believe that some on this board believe this land in competing with Diagon Alley. From the discussions I've had with a few insiders, this land will blow DA out of the water. It's superior to anything Disney has ever done, anywhere.

Continue on.

I can back up some chatter about this line of thinking.

This isn't even the best thing DISNEY has ever done in Florida. I believe that honor goes to Epcot Center.

Historically, yes. But, that'd be like saying Apple's best product was the original Macintosh (or whatever product you believe was their most transformative). I can certainly appreciate a historical view of looking at things, but it's just not how I view things. Simply put, there's nothing at Epcot today that comes close.

Understand, I'm not saying one way's right or wrong, just that we differ in our perspectives. Cheers!

My point was, you said "Florida hasn't received anything this amazing", which even you just admitted is not true.

I THINK this is going to be subjective and while some people think its the greatest thing ever others will be meh. As for DA vs Pandora, DA has the upper hand with the nostalgia factor than Pandora. The real winners here....the GP who don't really care.

Which is most, if we're being honest.

But I personally think this is a win for theme park fans just as much. Disney finally producing a high quality offering in Florida and with more on the way is a big win for guests.

If you think Avatar will open with the masses of people that were camera-ready decked out in weresmurf regalia and crying because it's the first place in he world they can have tail sex..

Well ok there will be like at least 40 furries..

But the news won't cover it and it wont be a sea of people.

I'm not sold on it's quality yet. It has some potential but... some parts already look "meh."

Like, we know what that drum circle looks like and all..

It's certainly of high quality imo, but I think the ACE storyline for the land is bringing it down as it isn't just a generic story that doesn't affect theming. The ACE bullcrap actually affects a lot of the elements on DAK's Pandora vs. Pandora (movie version)

Both lands are immersive... in different ways:
Food and stores makes diagon immersive where pandora relies on placement.

i do think the scale is being underrated on theme park boards but it wil really have to impress to pass DA and Hogsmeade in terms of immersion it will equal those two lands
ive said for a while i think this will be the best land Disney has ever done in their history very similar to Mysterious Island
two questions will determine if its the best land period
1. Are the rides technically advanced to equal Gringotts and FJ
2.Does the bioluminescence surpass the shops and eateries of DA in immersion, in other words, is the bio luminescence the wow factor when you walk into the land?

ill never forget the first time i walked in to Hogsmeade, i was literally blown away will i feel the same?
my guess is yes but we wont find out for a few more weeks should be fun to compare
