People are obsessed with cost

Check the financials...Disney aren't short of a penny or 2. And they've since awoken from their decade long slumber and see the potential in expanding their stateside parks. New guy in charge of Parks wants to make his own mark...Pandora isn't his.

I'm actually glad for once, that it feels like Disney has gone the whole hog with this and we're getting what will probably be the most impressively themed land in the world, and not some half baked cop out.

You should worry, it will be us paying for and not Disney. You think they would just write off a massive over spend, no chance.

It's a shame that Disney's billion dollar project has to share the screen with the ladies from the View. You'd think for all the effort and money they put into this thing that they'd at least give it some dignity. Perhaps it's Disney's way of reaching out to the mom demographic in hopes that they'll book travel this summer? Beats me.

im not a fan of the View but i imagine The View gets great ratings so it seems like a no brainer

i also expect "The making of Pandora" to be a prime time show sometime in late April early may

^ I sure hope so. The amount of work and detail that has gone into it should have earned it a bigger debut on TV. I'll be very interested to see how they go about campaigning prior to grand opening in three months.

I'd imagine that the mum demographic are probably the ones in charge of booking vacations. If you sell them, you've sold a family vacation.

The whole land is based on the made-up story for the land that most guests won't know. Basically, ACE overtook Pandora after the war and repurposed the areas to turn into a tourist attraction.
