I'm pretty sure that "Cheesey, we're home" scene was straight from the 1978 Christmas Special. They just CGed some grey hair in. :bolt:

Seeing BB-8 actually roll out on stage yesterday was even more mindblowing then the trailer. What a cool piece of tech that is. I wonder how much that cost to make, I also wonder how many remote control BB-8 they will sell this Xmas.

I think the weakest link of the trailer was old solo, but I've always thought that relying on the old characters was a mistake. Hoping the story really focuses on the new characters. I'll settle for "old luke", but that's about it.

THE FORCE IS STRONG IN MY FAMILY.....

Interesting that he says "My father has it" instead of "My father had it"

The dialogue is being reused from ROJ, when Luke explains it to Leia. The added piece is 'you have it'

Does anyone know if the music in this trailer (that plays during the last two-thirds of the trailer) is original to this trailer? Or is it from another Star Wars movie?

It isn't reused, Hamill confirmed that he recorded the new VO for the trailer, and even mentioned that they had to keep doing retakes because he kept saying "my father HAD it" instead of "HAS"...

Thought he said that it was a mixture of the original mixed with new takes they did. I do know that he said it was hard doing the new recordings because he kept on saying 'had it'.

The next trailer (which I have to think is the final trailer) will be out tomorrow first on the ESPN Monday Night Football as Tickets go on sale shortly after the trailer dropping. And..we have the official Star Wars poster.

AMC in Disney Springs is having a tickets event with an after party at HS. Not sure what the pricing is just yet. Details should be released tonight.

Hey remember when I saw Deathly Hallows Pt 2 at the Universal CityWalk and they took everyone into Hogsmeade afterwards for free? That was neat.

I'm honestly surprised they're doing this here instead of at Disneyland.

I just can't fathom how this is more expensive than Not So Scary or Mickey's Christmas party - a full park of attractions, special fireworks, special parade, etc....

Nope. Transportation not included either (unless you're staying on property)
