Nothing, at this point in time.
So how many of you are going to go on opening day?
People like the ride and the queue is the closest that feels like the original movies. Sure it's out of place and wouldn't fit in GE either. Move it over to the Star Wars hotel, it would fit there for "excursions".
I'm going in January when all of the land is actually open
Unless you live close, going on opening day doesn’t make much sense, especially when RotR will be open only a few short months later.
I've never been a rope drop or grand opening type person...Especially if everything is not ready in time
I will be there opening day bright and early, Thank goodness i live like 20 minutes away now.
Walls down in Toy Story Land leading to Batuu:
Is this entrance still slated to be an exit only for the time being?
Last I heard. For at least opening day.
I will be interesting to see when it becomes an entrance.
Well as @Nick alluded to I think it will depend on the crowd levels and if they have to control the flow of entry.
Opening videos are really showing how little atmosphere there is in the land, it looks so beautiful but like shopping in a store without music. Just a minor change of adding louder sounds and music would make a world of difference.
I mean... we've kinda known that for 3 months now. None of these videos of DHS are gonna show you anything different than what you saw at the DL previews months ago. It's a copy and paste aside from DL having one more entrance/exit.
I guess I just hoped they 'might' learn something and make a simple change - that's what any organisation with sense would do.
People seem to be enjoying this version a little more the DL in my opinion.
the fixes should be easy and common sense....but the Executives appear to be arrogant people that won't admit they made some missteps..They could add entertainment/more streetsmosphere/music stuff almost overnight like they added Frozen shows etc. once they realized they underestimated the movie's potential. ...this is kind of the same thing that happened at Universal with F&F. Internally, they know they f _ _ ked up, but they won't change anything because that would be a public admission it's not right.
Just like the Pandora walk around mech suit guy, I’m sure they’ll add additional entertainment here... but slowly. And with marketing fanfare with each addition.
I didn’t mind the lack of music I actually found the sound design of the land to be really impressive. As more walk around Entertainment is implemented, I think it will be very successful in feeling lively.
I was impressed by a lot of the land. It was way too obvious it was designed in California with no thought of Orlando weather though. The soundscape was better than I anticipated. I'm hoping to post some pictures later this week.
