So, I think this basically confirms Star Wars attractions coming. No new of a new land though. IDK if this is just a rumor or not so...yeah.

I'm still skeptical. I'll believe it when I see it (same goes for Avatar).

Exactly. Nothing confirms it, not even attraction closures, except actual new construction.

Well, supposedly they'll be showing parts of both projects off at D23 according to that article. Hopefully it's actually something of substance.

As skeptical as I always am on Disney projects, i'm pretty confident on this DHS refurb and Avatar. People are criticizing Avatar because of how long it's taking, but in reality, this is a rushed project considering there was nothing started on the R&D side when it was announced. Projects almost never are under the pressure Avatar is because of that announcement. But if they get it open around 2017 or so, that's 6 years from R&D to open. It usually takes much longer with Disney.

I would go one step further and say until I can touch it and experience said new attractions with my hands - I'll believe it when I experience it.

Well, in all reality Universal did a lot of the same for the first Potter. It clearly wasn't enough and reused a lot of Lost Continent's structure. Same with Minion Mayhem, Springfield, and Transformers. None were really expansions of the park. Diagon Alley will be.

Diagon Alley is not really an expansion of the park either. It, along with Gringotts, is replacing the ride Jaws!!

It's an expansion - no question. Jaws took up an incredible amount of land and was only one attraction and the surrounding area. Potter will have 2 E-Tickets and at least 3 other attractions which will definitely add capacity to the park (Wesley's, Olivanders, Borgin & Bourkes) with many shops and restaurants being added as well.

I was thinking more along the lines of a physical expansion, meaning using land that was not previously used as part of the park. But yeah, you are correct, there will be more attractions and restaurants in the existing space of Universal Studios, even after the closing of one previous attraction.

Hey Everyone, just to inform you, Disney's online game Club Penguin is now in Star Wars mode. There are areas from the planets to discover and as of now, they have Tatooine. Why is this relevant? Well it looks very much like what could be in the future Star Wars Land. There's Mos Eisley Cantina and a you can walk into the the Millennium Falcon which is parked right outside the restaurant. On the outskirts of the town, you can walk through a Sand crawler and walk through Luke Skywalker's house. I don't know if it's just me but as of now, it looks very similar to how an Imagineer would design it...and (I don't know if this is a clue of sorts) when you go into the Cantina restaurant, Figrin D'an and the Model Nodes aren't there. Maybe they didn't want to put too much into the restaurant without it being replicated into a possible future restaurant in the parks? Also, I find it odd that they do this when D23 Expo is soon...I don't know I just think it looks very cool

I heard the reason for the delay is that they can only locate 4 of the dwarfs. Rumor has it the other three are cross dressing as minions for Despicable Me.
