Everyone keeps saying how Star Wars locals are nondescript and somewhat nebulous. Well, in all of Star Trek, there is only ONE location. The "Bridge" of the Starship Enterprise.

Since Disney is building a full sized Falcon that we get to fly, I don't see Universal going that route. So maybe a multi media show is what we get. But they better pull out all the stops and blow us away.

I personally have little interest in the Falcon ride.

Apparently you missed the whole Star Trek attraction in Las vegas which combined the bridge, shuttlecraft, launch bay and ended up on DS9 at Quark's.

Would depend. Would it be based on the new movies (which Paramount owns) or TV Series (which CBS owns) since they split the rights down the middle

Apparently it does. There seems to have been a bit of bad blood over how much the movies could refer to the TV show (specifically ST:TOS Spock). Fortunately they worked it out and now both have successful ST franchises going. But if they license it out, it would have to be one or the other.... not both

I'm going with Dave on this.;) His info has been uncanny in it's accuracy.....I'm a big Bond fan and think this is a great property that has tons of potential for (as Ed Sullivan used to say) "A Really Good Show".....Bond it is.:cheers:...No need for any more debate. :peace: Dave has spoken. Pull the curtain down. Elvis has left the building. :)....Change the Witch Doctor chant in Kong to, "Bond, Bond, Bond"....Terminator gets a worthy successor.

It would make more sense as an extension of London.

Yes, but I'll gladly take Hollywood too. Movies and all that. And Bond is just such a better choice than Bourne plus there's only so much London they can do with Potter and all.

Maybe it's a Moonraker attraction. That would explain the confusion.

Bond is not worth more than a single attraction. And really a show is all that should be done with it. So waste the whole FFL plot with a show? If they are doing that there's no sense in tearing down the current stage. No need to extend facades. It would be a waste of space. the T2 location is plenty.

I'm not sayin' Star Trek isn't coming. Just that, I now believe, after triangulating my sources, that this is going to be Bond.

As in, I have had 3 different trusted insiders say that this is Bond. And aside from Jim Hill, not one insider has done anything more than speculate about anything other than Bond.

So, I'll take mine shaken not stirred. XXXter Derty!

That would be a waste of that plot IMO.

I have to really wonder how the show may play out; due to the actors of Bond ever changing. I would think they would just bring in actors from the park to play Bond, and have the supporting cast be look-alike actors from a certain film from time to time.

Pretty sure live stunt acting will be involved here.

I hope they call it:

"Bond3D in 2D: The Ride!"

They need to make it a show celebrating the entire bond series. They can call it the "The Bond Age Show"

Packed house every time.

For the first 10 minutes.

Whatever it ends up being, I hope it brings some life over to that side of the park with a really nice facade like Fallon.
