Not me. Test Track sucks.

Cold, sterile ride with no heart or imagination. It's only saving grace is its ride system.

I've always liked it. My favorite Epcot attraction out of the big 3 (TT, M:S, Soarin').. I could think of at least 20 attractions around the parks that could use a big overhaul over this one.

I love Test Track but I think this update/refurb is a great idea with the future of cars (still wish the sponsor was Ford but ill live) & showing everyone what well be able to drive in the near future!!

The ride doesn't need a refurb moreso than a complete overhaul, the same goes for Imagination which soon happen soon enough as well too.

And I know the usual suspects are out there like the Yeti on EE, the film and screen in Philharmagic, the jokes in Laugh Floor, the blue alien in Stitch, but I digress, the capacity on this ride is also god awful, so hopefully a refurb adds capacity too.

I wish I could tell you good things but.... It will be a glorified refurb for Test Track and you can just forget about everything else you listed

The problem is Disney has zero incentive to overhaul a ride that already has 120 minute waits. I am just thankful for Chevy. Without them we wouldn't be getting anything at all.

Ill be in Orlando from 5th September to the 19th. Taking mum for her first visit and was looking forward to her trying out Test Track. Now some people say its reopening late September. Others are saying refurbishment wont start till October. Slightly confused. Any set dates yet?

I've heard April-September. Dunno when it'll reopen though.

Not too go too off topic, but If I were you I would push my trip back to the last 2 weeks of September that way you get Test Track AND you can visit Halloween Horror Nights.

Would suck to be here 2 weeks before it opens

Not to mention that F&W might start sometime in the last week of September.

Meh. Sounds like little will be done to the actual experience.

I dunno... quite a bit can be done in 6 months, especially if many of the replacement creations are being worked on right now.

I hope. But I don't have much faith.

I will agree that your lack of faith is very warranted!

That's just what they're calling the cars...

...which actually gives me a bit more hope now that I think about it. There were rumors of a TRON-like aesthetic coming to the ride. Calling the cars "RideSim" leads me to believe you aren't supposed to be riding at all, and that the ride may now be a "simulation". Interesting.

That post show sounds really cool. MUCH better than the car show we have now.

EDIT: Wow.Totally read that article wrong the first time. I was thinking the pre-show was the post show. This is very interesting. Although, it's gonna make the waits even more ridiculous for Test Track.

Hopefully. There are a lot of buzz words in the PR. Could end up basically the same as what we have with a new coat of paint.

It definitely uses a lot of buzz words, but things sound radically different as well.
