That's a great article. Hopefully more people from this wedsite and your website will read it, refuse to ride Hulk due to the roughness, and tell others about it. Then if that happens, Hulk's ride attendance will drop and Universal will have to re-furb the ride to get people back on it. So, thank you for putting that article out. :thumbs: :rep:

Not exactly what I was going for but thanks. If people complain loud and long enough They will eventually listen. Kumba was down for under a month and it's great again. I'd Universal wanted more money they would put hulk down in September Ans get ready for hhn.

Hummingbird said that he will get some pictures this weekend. It's not like anything will have changed though. :'(

Unfortunately, someone running through the park ran into me and my camera went flying off the bridge between HP and JP, so no pictures. I was really pissed.

So I didnt even bother to look at the tracks for Hulk but I did ride and the ride seemed smoother and I didnt get a headache. So im chalking it up to maybe i just had a rough car the previous weekend. Going back this weekend (maybe even tomorrow evening) and if I have a new camera by then I will get some pics

Oh and sidenote: Im a woman lol.

While most of the attention at Universal’s Islands of Adventure park has been focused on the Wizarding World lately, they did take the time to spruce up several other park attractions as well. Unfortunately, as this article points out, the Incredible Hulk coaster was the one high profile ride that apparently was left-off the list of things to be spruced up. On top of looking a bit ulgy, the ride is apparently rubbing some fans the wrong way with a rougher than normal ride experience as well.
All is not lost however, as I have heard a few rumors being tossed around Universal campus claiming that there may be plans afoot to take what Universal has learned from the Hollywood Rockit and Hollywood Dream coasters (onboard lights & sounds system) and may apply it towards building some new themed trains packed with lights and sounds to take the Hulk to the next level. Cross your fingers…

Take a look at the track at the top of Tbad's picture, on the right hand side of the track. Tbad, it sucks you didn't get a picture from that angle, bacause to me, it looks like a sharp contrast from the brown muck next to it.

Suppose Universal is going to retheme the entire area away from Marvel.
They already run a spiderman type ride with a different theme don't they(in overseas park) ?
Now that marvel is owned by Disney they may think about getting out of that contract.
If they are thinking of a hulk retheme maybe the reason for not repainting it now.
Right now JKR , Spielberg and Disney (thru marvel) all get a cut of the gate.
The only business reason not to is that would leave disney free to use marvel in their own parks.
Universal owns Sci fi channel and several other properties they could retheme this too.
There already is a battlestar coaster overseas.

I (and some other people) understand where you are coming from, but NBC-Universal still has the licences to all things Marvel east of the Mississipi River. Universal can still keep the island and the licences around as long as all attractions are running. So, that does mean Hulk can get some kind of a re-furb from Universal and not violate any contracts. Unless Universal is letting Hulk get rusty to get out of the bind (I highly don't believe it though).... However on the other hand, if Hulk isn't getting any re-furb soon because Universal is going to re-theme the whole island. Then Universal needs to give a heads up on that....
