Its definitely a neat experience, but I wish that the wandkeeper would choose kids who are over the age of 11, or adults. They sometimes pick kids who have the look of a deer in headlights and they either have to walk them through it and it loses its magic, or the have to kick the kid out and get someone else at that point.

My fiancée and I were picked together on our first and only Ollivander's experience, so it is possible!

Have any HP artifacts been spotted in Confisco yet?

Regarding the logo on the gate... I think it may have a swirl around it sometime in the next 12 months.

Nothing in Confisco's from my own personal knowledge and I don't think anyone has spotted anything yet.

Have you gone and visited WW yet Teeb?

I finally made it to the wizarding world this past weekend with my girlfriend! It was just incredible, having seen so many pictures I knew what to expect but it is just so much better in person. I though forbidden journey was awesome and the queue was great as well. We were there Sunday afternoon and the wait time for it was 40 min, but it actually took about 30 min to get on. The ride stopped for about 2 minutes while we were on but then continued just fine, so we didn't miss any of it. Unfortunately, we didn't get to go into Ollivander's, the line was fairly long and we didn't have the time to wait. We will have to do it next time and we can't wait to go back.

First time on here in a while, finally got an internet connection at my hotel!
Anyway thanks for the update disneyhead glad to see they added to the front gate.
Can't wait to get on FJ for the first time next week, I was at the first package holder preview in may but FJ broke down quite early on and it was the last day of my vacation, so it's going to be great to finally get on it

Yes, if your going to do it at least keep it relatively canon by choosing people who are 11 and older (those who are older should be told "You're in need of a new wand - other one snapped in half I suppose? No matter, I can find you a new wand" etc)...

YES! Please! :D Although, I think they do pick older kids/peeps sometimes, but it should be that way the majority of the time :P

I know it is a small thing but hopefully the fact that they spent the money and time on the gate(finally yayy!) it shows that if and when a Harry Potter expansion ever does happen...it won't be that soon.

What is FJ's flip-flop policy? I typically wear flip-flops to parks because of water rides and being barefoot on Dragons. Do you sit on them, is there a pouch, or do you hold on with all of your toes' strength?

You can wear them on the ride. But as you said, hold on with all your toes strength. They won't fit in the compartment unless you have really teeny tiny feet.

Do they not let you sit on them? If not, I'm fine with wearing them.

I've never done the flip flop thing to a theme park, my feet would kill me an hour into my day.

I wear flip-flops all the time anyway. I love being barefoot on inverted and floorless coasters (and Doom). It feels so good between my toes-ies. But as stated before also, flip flops are way better on water rides. No wrinkly toes at the end of the day!

True, but I just take my shoes off for that, dry them off after and keep going.

Haha, I guess I could do that. I think we're going to try the water rides again this trip. I haven't been on Popeye in years, but a few rides of DC and Hulk should do the trick

Speaking of DC, are the "re-ride" signs back?

^Everytime I've gone, the door has been shut, and that has been when the ride is at a complete walk on. Like literally wait for the Dragon to pull up to Load, and you get on. I can understand if the ride had a wait, but when it's really dead, I don't know why they don't open it. Unless it's a rule now where they're not allowed to open it anymore or something.

So we didn't end up going to Universal today...we're going two weeks from now. I guess it's something to look forward to, but I was very excited for today.

Awww, well I don't know when I'm going to get to go. Been a while since I last went to the parks (I think a year or so), but I've been begging my parents to take me to the WWoHP... Still waiting for it to happen. Well when you do go, I hope you have a ton of fun :)
