How much have the prices of everything fluctuated since opening? Specifically, butterbeer (first and refills)? :drool5:

From what I've heard (and don't rely on me too heavily I haven't been there myself yet xD), they haven't changed much, maybe a dollar or two up...

The last I heard (from the first WWOHP ITM podcast) your first one was $10, and refills were $4.

Finally got to ride FJ this morning and WOW I was impressed! I'm hoping to go back into IOA this afternoon and try to re-ride it, although it seems really busy today...

No, they are moving it down to the new drill holes perhaps. Those gate rails do not have drill holes in them in Disneyheads pictures. Now they are re-welding the mounts on the medallion to match the new drill holes.

Maybe they're adding more of a spiral as well.

It's kinda weird where they put it... between JP and TL. Should they just replace the old gate, for a new, geographically correct gate?

That would cost a pretty penny, but I'd like it better. And we're still waitng on HP stickers on the trash cans and HP items in Confiscos.

New gate with proper placement and a new LC plate with a large bite taken out of it

If they could just switch JP and put it where the new Potter placement spot is and put Potter where JP's spiral has always been you have a more accurate depiction at least in order rather than an entire new gate.

Frankly, I am just glad this is finally happening. Agreed on Confiscos and the trashcans. It can't be too hard to either just vinyl heat some of postcard like concept of Hogwarts or hogsmeade stores as well as throw a wand next to a wand box in Confiscos...although better yet would be something semi original like the philosopher's stone or something unique that is not just a piece of merch from there.

Yeah, I wondered that too. Shocked that they did it and then had supervisors say crap crap crap! Who in hell is running that place? It is as if they had newbies on the payroll go down and decide and none of the higher-ups paid any interest until they saw it was obviously a mistake.

That said, I had never noticed the gate until it was pointed out on here a year ago on here. I knew the gate was there, but I didn't notice all of the logos. 200 times to IOA staring incessantly at every detail. We all have different focuses I guess.

It's pretty easy to miss since we're all so anxious to enter the park. I never noticed they are arranged like the park layout.

So, how big are the butterbeer mugs? I would like to get some butterbeer as one of the first things in the morning, but I hate toting around souvenirs (definitely want to keep the mug though). Would cargo pants conceal them, should we use lockers, or head back to the car? I've never used day lockers, are they reasonable?

They're way too big for pockets but you can easily fit them into lockers.

If you have a bag with you, you can rinse it out and put it in there. But if you really don't want to lug anything including bags around, the day lockers at the front of the park are $8 for the whole day. I've always thought it was a good price, but usually my party has a bag or two to put in it. Seems kinda much though if you're only putting the mug in there. Hope this helped!

That was helpful. We're not bag-toters, but I mind using the ride lockers, it's just a small inconvenience.

Hey everyone, who wants some Powerade?

The Powerade bottles? Oh, dude, that was when, in one of the 'windows' of the small spire next to the courtyard during construction, some construction workers left a pair of Powerade bottles, who would forever go down in OU fame. xD

Ahh... Well that must have been forever embarressing for them. I wonder if anyone found out who did it? They probably would have been in a whole HEAP of trouble xD
