Sounds like Universal definitely has the right attitude towards this, and I'm glad they are investing in the parks more. They seem to understand that you have to invest to bring in the money, more so then Disney it would seem.
As for the Potter expansion; with the success they've had with WWoHP, it would be almost stupid not to expand and to bring in more people and make more money out of it.

As was I. But I don't see why one has to jump on it when another expresses a different opinion. I am not singling you out.

Anyway, if these rumors, which is what they are, hold true, I don't expect to see anything soon. Uni would be stupid to rush into something when more people will come when they haven't just returned from their first vacation, metaphorically. I'd love an expansion, as long as it makes the park as a whole better. Personally I'd love to see more new technology be implemented. That's what basically hyped up FJ so much.

Okay, so even though I no longer post over at WDWMagic, I still read it because 5 or so posters over there know their stuff, and I came across this beauty of a post from a guy named Martin that knows more than every other person I've ever met put together.

This is great news, and hopefully they will give hulk some paint!

Maybe they will expand with Lord of the Rings in that plot of land by JP. Since IOA is all based around literature, this would be awesome to see the tower of Mordor built, or an attraction with Smeagol

While I completely agree with some of you that many of these things are "in the works" and the plans are moving forward. We all must keep in mind that there is an 800lb gorilla that has yet to enter the room; Comcast. If that merger is approved by the FCC, then all bets might be off. Martin and Lee have both revealed things that were to be, green lit projects that were then stopped, changed or severely cut back to near nothingness in mid green light. The FL expansion is a great example of this. Lee was almost dumbfounded when the space mountain refurb began revealing its true self.

Yep, that was not what Lee had been told was the final green-light. In hindsight, it appears WDW Operations has severe clout over what happens to their parks and attractions, or so it was told. They kept on screeching and whining even after the project was green-lit.

Oh no doubt. Can't say all of this is a definite(although I do think a Potter expansion is about as definite as Republicans winning the last round of elections).

But still, if park management can show how great these expansions have produced money, I don't think Comcast will mind building them.

I would say as soon as possible. Once the breaks start for millions of students, teachers and staff around the Country as well as holidays around the world all bets are off.

Does it make a difference between Sunday and Saturday? I just hate having my day ruined because I know that I have to wake up early the next day. I much rather go on Saturday, where I can stay out late then sleep in the next day!
