I forgot where this was originally discussed, but a new photo-op was added (today? not sure exactly when, but I don't think that it's been discussed yet). It hasn't officially been started up yet, but the "scene" for the background in the photos has been put put up and the theme revealed.

I believe there was word of a third meet&Greet not built yet in Plaza..if Kubo is that third, then I'm perfectly fine with it.

Laika's (ParaNorman, Coraline, Boxtrolls) new film Kubo, that's cool. Anything for them to get more promotion, it's a shame that they don't do better as their films are really good.

And IU has some pictures of the Meet & Greet, featuring Kubo, Beetle and Monkey.

That doesn't surprise me... the security area is relatively small and has little room for expansion. But yeah, wow.

Can you imagine what GRINCHMAS is going to be like?!

I literally just wrote about this in The Walking Dead thread.  Just saw it for myself as I left the park at 11am.  They appeared to have all the security lanes open, and had even temporarily added 4 more at the end of the row.  The line was not only going through CityWalk, but it snaked around Hard Rock, back towards Yogurtland, and was heading back into the Jurassic Parking lot.  Crazy.

They also have the timed ticket entry kiosks for Harry Potter all set up and ready to go, along with a queue line prepped for their use.  Should be interesting to see if they'll actually be using it today or not.  If so, wouldn't this essentially be the first time they'd be used (aside from a few early test runs)?

Having 32-36 security stations open is relatively small to you?  Even Six Flags or Disney doesn't have that much.  Although I suppose you mean the literal space, not how many stations are open.  That is true enough.  And although the line was long, it was moving very briskly, I have to give them that credit.

Yes, space-wise. The line probably moves quick, but they probably weren't expecting this much of a rush and there's nowhere to pack people in so that they're not snaking down CityWalk.

This is a good sign, maybe people were waiting for The Walking Dead to open/soft before visiting Potter. They should have opened TWD before potter to be honest.

I doubt many people know or care that The Walking Dead Attraction is currently undergoing softs.

If anything, I attribute this recent increase to the holiday weekend.

Universal has reduced park hours for the rest of July and most of August. The park was scheduled to be open till 11pm in July and they've been reduced to 10pm. As of today all weekdays in August have been reduced to 10pm as well. Weekends for now are still open till 11pm, but if the past is any indication, those will be reduced to 10pm as well.
