In an interesting note from inside Universal's new Photo Update (which you should all check out..); New Supporting structures have been set on one of the sides of the new ET Parking Structure facing the Jurassic Parking Structure...

No WAY they wait that long for Diagon Alley, IMO Potter as a character himself would die down by then/ DA would be open for 6 years already at USO... I would be embarrassed myself if USH decides to hold off that long...

Is it just me that I would think that 2020 would be more Nintendo's year and not Potter? Don't get me wrong, I expect DA to eventually come, but I think they need to focus on Nintendo, Especially if the rumors are true about its practical aspects turn out to be the case..

Ya know, if they're going to wait this long, they should just do something else instead. I would be totally fine with DA not coming at all. I don't want to wait six years for a clone of a "meh" coasterlator ride that's already been open since 2014.

Lets be honest, USH needs more rides, DA is very nice, Gringotts has an amazing queue, but USH does not need this ride. We need another thril ride, but not one that's in 3D.

Escape from Gringotts is a good ride, but the pace was kinda slow for my liking and it was far too reliant on screens. They should do something else with Potter and let Orlando keep DA.

Also, I wouldn't say that's the most reputable source.

So glad to see somebody with similar thoughts as mine.

From IU, they originally reported of the new structures a few days ago being attached onto the ET Parking structure..and now there seems to be an update, as instead of advertising the theme park and Citywalk; it seems that they are advertising more of the Film studio..

NBCUniversal has released a brand new Mobile App of Universal Studios Hollywood, with a much similar design to what Universal Orlando has (Not to mention what seems to be a new design for a possible future map).

I noticed that some things about the app map. Primarily, Former Soundstage 28 is (accurately) empty space on the map and Park Lake is missing entirely.

The Red Sea being missing makes sense to me, especially when demolition is starting to occur around the area of the Red Lake and that it'll probably be going along with S747 shortly after HHN. It's a guess, but that'd actually make sense so they can start getting the new high-end soundstages over there by Late 2017/Early 2018.

This is not a bad start... but it certainly can be improved.  I do prefer the wait times being more streamlined and being able to see them all quickly like the mobile site.

Also, I really hope soon they will include a way to upload your AP, so I don't have to keep dragging it out.  Fingers crossed that happens in a future update.  Also, I didn't see anything that lists the smaller shows like TriWizard Tournament, Frog Choir, or Characters.  Unless I miss that?

The parking locator is a nice touch.  Overall, it seems the app is more geared towards tourists that APs.

It's a great start, and long awaited, but it could certainly use some improvements. I noticed that some things aren't pinned on the map in the correct spot, and not all restrooms have been added to the map. Also, there are some attraction inaccuracies. TWDA is listed as a thrill ride, The Simpsons Ride is listed as a 3D/4D ride, Dino Play is listed as a family friendly ride, and Silly Swirly was renamed "Super Silly Fun Ride."

I love the irony of Hippogriff having the family icon whereas FJ has the roller coaster thrill icon.

It's overdue while still showing off how incredibly tiny USH is. I also heavily dislike the beautification fabrications, such as a fully-detailed FJ show building and Stage 28 being replaced by a forest, but these are complaints that can be placed towards other similar apps.

For now, it's just nice to have.

USH has no love for the Apple people. What gives?

Quick update on the USH app: The Simpsons Ride is now listed as a thrill ride, Hogsmeade's restroom location has been added to the map, and the "Super Silly Fun Ride" pin has been renamed to "Super Silly Fun Land".

It looks like development on the Fung Lum lot has stopped for now. It's painted and set up as a parking lot. I have a picture that I'll attach when I get home.

I apologize, it's not a great picture. I was sitting on the wrong side of the tram, but hopefully you can see what I'm referring to:

^ That's certainly unexpected. Guess we won't see a hotel break ground for a few years.
