Come on...it's crap and you know it. But I don't see them going that cheap either.

Well, Teebin has said that they need to spend alot of money in a short time. May bode well for a facade. Not holding my breath though. Wouldn't mind just getting a brand spanking new SS44

For those who don't visit the USH thread, here is what we're talking about:

Compare it to Singapore:

The Hollywood one is ugly, no question about it. And are we going to get the same name with The Ride 3D at the end. Couldn't they have come up with something better like they did for Despicable Me and Harry Potter?

Yeah the 3D tagged on at the end is a bit stupid. Although I'd be surprised if we see it. It's not the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman: 3D.

I pray we get something like "Transformers: Battle for the All Spark" or "Transformers: Prepare for Battle".

Doesn't bother me, plus, take the Singapore version and map it onto the Hollywood building. It would look PUNY in Hollywood. Wouldn't even make it halfway up the building.

As this one will be seen from all 4 sides, we may actually get something substantial. Nassal may have to start working 24/7 now to keep up.

That would look ridiculous in that section of USF.

What I'd really love to see is a mash-up of the two. The scale and mural of the USH version, with actual figures like Singapore. They could wrap some fight scenes around the corners of the building and have action on all sides. They did well with DM, so I do have faith. I'd like to see something like that, only more epic. Imagine some autobots crawling out the sides of the building.

The Singapore once would look just as out of place there as the Hollywood one, IMO. The plot is in a real awkward spot and can be seen from all areas of the park. Will be interesting to see what they end up doing.

I honestly wouldn't mind an all around art deco look to the building...maybe a few fake display/shop windows on the NY side with some old movie memorabilia and some cleverly named store fronts...on the other side vintage Universal movie posters/fake windows...on the monster cafe side maybe a fake Cinema sign and a theater-esque exterior...and then the NEST Facility entrance looking very metalic and futuristic on the other...

I don't think we'll see anything major on the Shrek side because that would make Shrek's soundstage stand out in a bad way. Which side of the building was the Her and Zena entrance on? I'm guessing lagoon side but that seems awkward to have people wrap around the building to get in. Also it's not the way you want to put a featured attraction. The entrance needs to be visible as people start moving into the park.

Just thinking out loud here. Say they sold Marvel back to Disney. Wouldn't it be better to retheme Marvel to a Sci-Fi land and then build a 3rd park around ALL the DC Universe characters? One land would be Gotham, another Metropolis. Another Center City, etc. Each land based on the city each Super Hero is from. I always said this is where Six Flags has failed with the DC characters and themes. In Great Adventure we have two Batman rides in Movie City, then Green Lantern and Superman at the Boardwalk section with Bizarro in Frontierland or whatever it is called. Makes no sense at all. I have faith Universal Creative could do a 3rd park based on DC and do it 100% right, giving it the justice (league) it deserves.

Hopefully they have land to make this park when that happens. I heard that the area where the doubletree hotel is located could be where they expand. It's off of Major Blvd. I will say that the ideas for DC and the Looney Tunes back in 1991 were a lot better than what we see at six flags today. The Dark Knight coaster at Great Adventure is like Shrek 4D. A great preshow with a disappointing ride experience.

I'm guessing the entrance will either be on the lagoon or on the NY side of the building.
